Christmas Eve Girl

Hello Friends!  Hope you are doing very well!

I've another Christmas card to show you .. this one is using Lili of the Valley's "Christmas Eve Girl" and in the corner of the image I've used a Merry Christmas sentiment from  Set 36 of the Christmas Icons Stamp Sheet. 

Do you remember Christmas Eve as a young one?  Trying to force your eyes to remain open to catch a glimpse of Santa or maybe hear a little jingle of the reindeer's bells?  hehe!  I remember always feeling SO excited waking up in the morning and seeing Santa's cookies and milk all gone.  LOL!!!  :)  And now I have the pleasure to watch Bodhi experience the same feelings.  :)

LOTV Mermaids and Fairies

Hello Friends!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  :)

The weather is cooling off so beautifully here in town .. I so love it!  And Halloween is right around the corner .. oooooh one of my favorite holidays!  Do you all decorate your home?  We do .. my little Bodhi loves his decorations and even though it creeps him out .. he still can't resist it.  lol!

Well, I have another sneek peek to show you from Lili of the Valley's upcoming Mermaids and Fairies.  Have you been seeing them on my fabulous DT sisters blogs?!  Aren't they just irrisistable yet again?!!  So darling I tell you!

Here's Little Mermaid #2 coloured with Prisma Coloured Pencils and OMS .. this lovely girl needs a name as well .. :)

Christmas Greetings

Hello Friends!  Hope you are all enjoying the start of your weekend!  :)

We kicked off with an afterschool park playdate with Bodhi's best friend Hudson .. that he's had since last year in Kindergarten.  Then we had a movie night watching Transformers.  :)  Honestly ... I kinda really enjoy Transformers .. love the action packed movies!  hehe!!

So, since Christmas is right around the corner .. I've been trying my best to make some.  And I've gotten round to using this beautiful stamp from Lili of the Valley called "Snow Queen".  I love her a lot (I know I say that about ALL of the LOTV stamps .. but it's true!).  I've also used "Christmas Mini Icons" to make a banner, and a little tag using the "Christmas Icons Sheet".

So here's my "Delivering the Presents" from Lili of the Valley which I coloured with Prisma coloured Pencils and OMS.  Isn't he so cute trudging in the snow all bundled up?!  :)  And then I used the Scalloped Concertina Card from Whichcraft .. such a nice change from the typical squares I always do!  :)

I've also used Lili of the Valleys Christmas Grungy Messages and their beautiful Frosty Christmas Paper.

Hangin' Round Waiting for Christmas ...

Hello Friends!  Hope you're off to a great start on your weekend.  :)

Oh my gosh, remember in my last post I mentioned there would be a storm rolling in this past Thursday here?  Wow!  It was a storm for sure!!!  Totally LOVED it!  Thunder so loud it rattled the windows, incessant lightning, skies that looked like it was evening, and the RAIN .. oh the RAIN!!!  Our poor dog Max refused to go potty, and heck I don't blame him for not wanting to get drenched.  lol!  But it was such a welcomed storm and it has brought in such beautiful temperatures.

All of us here completely love storms .. the sound and the coziness of it.  And luckily, Bodhi is not afraid of storms ..... yet.  lol!  I hope he will never be.  He can fall right asleep even when the thunder is crashing and pounding outside .. just like us.  hehe!  :)

Anyway!  Christmas is right around the corner, and here's a simple card I've made using Lili of the Valley's "Fur Cones".  Aren't they such precious kitties?!!  I love them!

I've also stamped some snowflakes from Set 36 Christmas Icons on the borders of the image, and cut out some Christmas Mini Icon Tags from Set 37 to place at the top corner of my card so it looks like a small banner.  Then I've used the lovely "Krafty Christmas" paper.  All this from your beautiful Lili of the Valley Store!!!  :)

Now .. You and I both know how Lili of the Valley totally ROCKS it right?!  I'm gonna tell you .. we'll be showing you sneak peeks of yet another release coming up and OOOoOOOOH my gosh .. **swooooning with hand to forehead** .. it is so SWEET!  :)

Christmas Magic

Hello Friends!  Hope you're all having a great week so far!

This past weekend, we went to another Birthday party and had a lovely time ... we had beautiful weather!  :)  The past few days here has been WONDERFUL .. getting a bit chilly at night and in the mornings .. which I love!  And a storm is expected on Thursday, so it will cool off even more.  Thank goodness, I'm so ready for the lower temps!

Well, I've gotten to play with this darling image from Lili of the Valley "Together At Christmas".  I love them so cozy by the fire, sitting there and probably chatting about sweet nothings.  :)

You're My "Boo" ...

Earlier tonight, we took Bodhi to the Pumpkin Patch .. as we do every year.  There's little rides, huge slides, a little petting zoo and such for the kids .. and of course tons of pumpkins to choose from.  So every year we all choose together which we like best.

Looks like a big 'ol tomato .. lol .. we love it.  :)

Hello Friend

Hello Friends!  Can you believe it's October?!  I love this time of year .. the holidays are coming round the corner and there's pumpkins, turkeys and candy canes to look forward to!  :)

Lemme share something that I thought was so sweet.  :)  My little Bodhi had been telling me that he did not want to go to school anymore.  He was not enjoying his time there .. which broke my heart when he told me what had happened.  I took him to school a little early since I had wanted to speak with his teacher.  And as Bodhi and I were standing outside waiting for the doors to open to the hallway .. a little girl walked up to him so kindly and gently said, "I love you Bodhi."  Wish you could have heard her .. it was the sweetest thing.

I tried not to peek and look at them, but I just coudn't resist to see what Bodhi's reaction was.  He looked up at me like he didn't know what to say, and so I said, "Awww Bodhi, that is so sweet."  :)  He nodded.  lol.  She then said, "Hold my hand Bodhi."  And I have to just tell you ... this little girl was NOT demanding or being pushy .. she was just being as gentle and soft as could possibly be.

So she took Bodhi's hand and when the doors opened .. they walked hand in hand all the way to their cubbie holes to hang their backpacks.  Gotta tell you ... I literally had tears welling up  ... this little girl made Bodhi feel so loved on a day that he needed that encouragement.  What an Angel she was.  :)  Times like those ... I wish I had a video recorder in hand.  LOL!!!

Alright .. annnnnyway .. hehe .. it's time for a new sketch over at CLP and here's my take ...
