If Friends Were Flowers ...

Hi Ya's!  Hope you're all doing very well!  Are you all ready for the new year to begin?  :)  Will you be doing any special celebrations?

My family is here in town .. so we'll be celebrating here at our home.  Having been born and raised in Hawaii .. New Years was always a HUGE celebration for us.  So to have some of my family here during this time will be special.  :)

Bodhi is over the moon happy that Grandpa is here.  And it's so nice to see him feel so close to my Dad.  When they get together, I'm not sure who makes more noise .. lol!  And Bodhi must've bombarded my Dad with about 5 different games within the first hour and a half of being together.  hahaha!!!  It's pretty cute to witness.  :)

Anyway .. I've made a card using "If Friends Were Flowers" from the latest LOTV release.  I really love this image .. it can be used for so many different occasions!  Birthdays, Friendship, Love, Get Well Soon .. pretty much anything!  Have you all gotten your fill from the newest LOTV release?  sigh .. they are just so DARLING aren't they?!!!!

Have a Merry Christmas!

Hello Friends!  Gosh, can you believe that Christmas is only a couple of days away???  Wow!

I've managed to recycle a little box .. it's one of those Starbucks Refreshers boxes.  Some of my family will be arriving this week, and I wanted to put a little gift card in each box.  :)

I used this sweet "Thinking of You" stamp along with "Christmas Handwritten Phrases".  And then I know it's a bit impossible to see .. lol .. but I've used the beautiful Krafty Christmas papers.  And all of this is from your lovely Lili of the Valley store!!

My little Bodhi will have his Christmas Chapel Perfomance tonight .. we're so excited to see it again this year.  I remember his last year Kindergarten Christmas play .. it was extremely windy and cold that night.  But with everyone piled in the Chapel, it was so cozy and warm with all the families filled with excitement.  And as soon as I saw Bodhi walking down the aisle with the other Kindergarteners .. oh gosh .. talk about "water works".  I'm such a crybaby when it comes to that kind of stuff!  LOL!!!  It's just so beautiful you know?  :)

Anyway, I've made some time to play with my very FIRST Saturated Canary image.  :)  Yes ... I think they are DARLING!

Getting Ready for Christmas ...

Hi Friends!  Hope you are all well!  :)

Me, I've had a very busy week with lots of appointments, and have managed to catch the strep throat that my hubby and son had.  And when I gave Bodhi his vitamin today, he says, "Mommy!  Oh no!  You touched my vitamin!  You're gonna get me sick!"  *Hands went straight to my hips* .. and I said, "Uhhhh -yea.  WHO got me sick in the first place?!"  *giggles & realization on his end* and then, "Ohhhhh Mommy, NOT me."  LOL!!!  :)

So I've had a play with this DARLING Lili of the Valley "Hanging the Stockings" stamp.  I love the way she's tippie toeing on a present to reach wayyy on up there and hang the stockings .. hehe!  You almost wanna reach in there and help lift her up to reach that nail don't ya?  So CUTE she is!!!

Lili of the Valley Sneak Peek Blog Hop!

Good morning Friends, thanks for stopping by!

Today we’re holding a Lili of the Valley sneaky peek blog hop to celebrate the launch of the gorgeous new stamps! There are 18 of the cutest baby and animal designs (unmounted rubber) and also 2 new A5 sheets of clear stamps (a companion set and also an everyday version of the hugely popular Grungy Christmas Messages).

Christmas Magic

Hello Friends!  Hope you are all doing well!  It's the start of another weekend .. and for us it's the beginning of a mini-holiday.  Bodhi starts his Thanksgiving vacation and has the ENTIRE week off from school!  Lucky kid!  lol!  Gosh, when I was in school, we only had 4 days off for Thanksgiving break.  His school gives the WHOLE week off! 

I'm looking forward to it.  Means we can get up a bit later in the mornings, and also .. more cuddle time!!!  For some reason, I'm so into blankets at this time of year.  And I love shopping for one or two more every year.  hehe.  So, I went out and got us a couple more for the living room .. with hanging out on the floor and watching movies in mind.  :)  I know we'll probably be moving furniture around, and laying down layers of blankets to watch movies downstairs .. so it'll be nice and cozy!  :)

Annnnyways ... I've made a Christmas card using Lili of the Valley's darling "Ice Skating" image.  I LOVE them!  Do you know I've never been ice skating?!  Yup!  Never!  I rollerskated, but never ice skated.  I can only imagine what I'd look like if I tried it .. and this beautiful graceful image does not come to mind if I'm in it.  LOL!  :)

Lili of the Valley Recipe Card Stamps ...

Hello Friends!  Hope you are all doing well!

You know, the more I think about it, the more I'm starting to get myself into a slight panic.  Christmas is right around the corner, and like ... is it just me or do you feel like you're in one of those dreams where you're running and running and running and not getting anywhere?!!  hahahahaha!!!  Plus we're helping my father in law move homes .. so that's kinda making us rush around a little more too.  sigh ... not enough hours, not enough days, not enough time .. lol!!!

But I've managed to make some cards using Lili of the Valley's Recipe Stamps .. I so LOVE these!!!  Cooking and baking always makes me feel so cozy and homey .. and I'm NOT saying I'm good in the kitchen .. but it just makes me feel good inside to think of it and watch it on TV.  haha!  I love the Food Network and Cooking Channel.  :)

Lili of the Valley Sneak Peek

Hello Friends!  Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!  :) 

We have have a 3 day weekend here in the U.S. for Veteran's Day, and we had a very nice start on Saturday.  We had teensy falling snowflakes!  OoOh we were so excited!  I kept hoping that the flakes would get bigger, but .. it didn't.  lol!  The mountains by our home ended up with all the snow and it's put such a nice chill in the air.  :)  I'm crossing my fingers that it'll snow at our home again this year.  :)

Well, in my last post I mentioned that Lili of the Valley is having another DARLING release.  And I'm so not kidding!  lol!

Today, I'm going to show you "Football Bears" .. they are cuUute!!!  So perfect because Bodhi loves playing soccer at school!  I decided I'd make him one of those corner bookmarkers since he really needs more of them and this is what I've come up with:

Home for the Holidays ...

Hello Friends!  Hope you are all doing very well and enjoying your week so far!  :)

I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone in watching those Phineas and Ferb cartoons that I mentioned in my last post .. hahaha!!!!  They really are pretty hilarious.  lol!  I sometimes even watch it late at night if I can't fall asleep in bed.  LOL!!!!  :)

Well, I've had a play with another LOVELY Lili of the Valley Christmas image .. this one is called "Victoria and Pup" and I've used Distress Inks to colour.  Oh how I love them together .. I think this image evokes so many warm fuzzy feelings and it's a "must-have" for every Christmas!!

These beautiful Pion papers I've used were given to me by a very dear friend last Christmas (thank you SO much!!) .. and I've had such a difficult time cutting into them.  I swear I must've had sweat dripping from my brow as I was trimming these papers.  LOL!

On to some other exciting news which will capture your attention for sure .. lol .. Lili of the Valley is having another new release soon!!!  Oh me oh my!!  You'll start seeing sneak peeks on all of our blogs, so keep checking my fabulous DT sisters posts!  I know I say this all the time .. but this will be yet another AMAZING release .. so very very PRECIOUS & ADORABLE!!!!  :)  Every image will leave you saying, "Awwwww!!!  SOoO darling!!!"

Friends Always ...

Hello Friends!  Hope you're having a great weekend!  :)

We're hanging out and just relaxing .. watching some Phineas and Ferb cartoons with Bodhi.  Have you ever watched those cartoons?  lol ... lemme tell you ... they're hilarious!  I'm all grown up (well at least I think I am) .. and when I watch that cartoon, it literally cracks me up.  Like out loud cracking up.  hehe!  It's such a great cartoon series .. and it's even better since Bodhi loves them too.  :)

I've gotten to complete a card using Lili of the Valley's darling Little Mermaid Friends.  I started colouring these cuties, and totally messed them up.  So I tried again and the colors that I was thinking for definitely did NOT happen.  I was about to start over AGAIN .. but I thought, "Hmmm.  Let me try and finish this up and see the end result."   And here they are:

Christmas Eve Girl

Hello Friends!  Hope you are doing very well!

I've another Christmas card to show you .. this one is using Lili of the Valley's "Christmas Eve Girl" and in the corner of the image I've used a Merry Christmas sentiment from  Set 36 of the Christmas Icons Stamp Sheet. 

Do you remember Christmas Eve as a young one?  Trying to force your eyes to remain open to catch a glimpse of Santa or maybe hear a little jingle of the reindeer's bells?  hehe!  I remember always feeling SO excited waking up in the morning and seeing Santa's cookies and milk all gone.  LOL!!!  :)  And now I have the pleasure to watch Bodhi experience the same feelings.  :)

LOTV Mermaids and Fairies

Hello Friends!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  :)

The weather is cooling off so beautifully here in town .. I so love it!  And Halloween is right around the corner .. oooooh one of my favorite holidays!  Do you all decorate your home?  We do .. my little Bodhi loves his decorations and even though it creeps him out .. he still can't resist it.  lol!

Christmas Greetings

Hello Friends!  Hope you are all enjoying the start of your weekend!  :)

We kicked off with an afterschool park playdate with Bodhi's best friend Hudson .. that he's had since last year in Kindergarten.  Then we had a movie night watching Transformers.  :)  Honestly ... I kinda really enjoy Transformers .. love the action packed movies!  hehe!!

So, since Christmas is right around the corner .. I've been trying my best to make some.  And I've gotten round to using this beautiful stamp from Lili of the Valley called "Snow Queen".  I love her a lot (I know I say that about ALL of the LOTV stamps .. but it's true!).  I've also used "Christmas Mini Icons" to make a banner, and a little tag using the "Christmas Icons Sheet".

Hangin' Round Waiting for Christmas ...

Hello Friends!  Hope you're off to a great start on your weekend.  :)

Oh my gosh, remember in my last post I mentioned there would be a storm rolling in this past Thursday here?  Wow!  It was a storm for sure!!!  Totally LOVED it!  Thunder so loud it rattled the windows, incessant lightning, skies that looked like it was evening, and the RAIN .. oh the RAIN!!!  Our poor dog Max refused to go potty, and heck I don't blame him for not wanting to get drenched.  lol!  But it was such a welcomed storm and it has brought in such beautiful temperatures.

All of us here completely love storms .. the sound and the coziness of it.  And luckily, Bodhi is not afraid of storms ..... yet.  lol!  I hope he will never be.  He can fall right asleep even when the thunder is crashing and pounding outside .. just like us.  hehe!  :)

Anyway!  Christmas is right around the corner, and here's a simple card I've made using Lili of the Valley's "Fur Cones".  Aren't they such precious kitties?!!  I love them!

I've also stamped some snowflakes from Set 36 Christmas Icons on the borders of the image, and cut out some Christmas Mini Icon Tags from Set 37 to place at the top corner of my card so it looks like a small banner.  Then I've used the lovely "Krafty Christmas" paper.  All this from your beautiful Lili of the Valley Store!!!  :)

Christmas Magic

Hello Friends!  Hope you're all having a great week so far!

This past weekend, we went to another Birthday party and had a lovely time ... we had beautiful weather!  :)  The past few days here has been WONDERFUL .. getting a bit chilly at night and in the mornings .. which I love!  And a storm is expected on Thursday, so it will cool off even more.  Thank goodness, I'm so ready for the lower temps!

Well, I've gotten to play with this darling image from Lili of the Valley "Together At Christmas".  I love them so cozy by the fire, sitting there and probably chatting about sweet nothings.  :)

Earlier tonight, we took Bodhi to the Pumpkin Patch .. as we do every year.  There's little rides, huge slides, a little petting zoo and such for the kids .. and of course tons of pumpkins to choose from.  So every year we all choose together which we like best.

Looks like a big 'ol tomato .. lol .. we love it.  :)

Hello Friend

Hello Friends!  Can you believe it's October?!  I love this time of year .. the holidays are coming round the corner and there's pumpkins, turkeys and candy canes to look forward to!  :)

Lemme share something that I thought was so sweet.  :)  My little Bodhi had been telling me that he did not want to go to school anymore.  He was not enjoying his time there .. which broke my heart when he told me what had happened.  I took him to school a little early since I had wanted to speak with his teacher.  And as Bodhi and I were standing outside waiting for the doors to open to the hallway .. a little girl walked up to him so kindly and gently said, "I love you Bodhi."  Wish you could have heard her .. it was the sweetest thing.

I tried not to peek and look at them, but I just coudn't resist to see what Bodhi's reaction was.  He looked up at me like he didn't know what to say, and so I said, "Awww Bodhi, that is so sweet."  :)  He nodded.  lol.  She then said, "Hold my hand Bodhi."  And I have to just tell you ... this little girl was NOT demanding or being pushy .. she was just being as gentle and soft as could possibly be.

So she took Bodhi's hand and when the doors opened .. they walked hand in hand all the way to their cubbie holes to hang their backpacks.  Gotta tell you ... I literally had tears welling up  ... this little girl made Bodhi feel so loved on a day that he needed that encouragement.  What an Angel she was.  :)  Times like those ... I wish I had a video recorder in hand.  LOL!!!

Alright .. annnnnyway .. hehe .. it's time for a new sketch over at CLP and here's my take ...

To A Special Friend

Hello Friends!  Hope you're having a lovely weekend!

I wanted to share another tag that I've made using one of the new Lili of the Valley Geisha Girls .. aren't they just so darling?!  For those living in the UK, some of you lucky ones have already gotten to visit the actual Lili of the Valley store on Friday (gosh what lucky gals you are!!!).  Then the online release of these beautiful Geisha Girls will be Oct. 1st .. pretttttttty soOooOn!  Yayyy!  :)

Kay, so for this tag I used this pretty Lili of the Valley Geisha girl, some butterflies that I cut and placed where I wanted, the lovely scroll, and sweet "Petal Fresh" papers.  All of these which you will find at your one stop, shop till you drop Lili of the Valley store.  :)

For today, I'm using another precious Geisha girl and have added a bird on the branch above her and a butterfly on the side.  These little elements will also be in the new launch to create your own little scenery, so don't forget to treat yourselves to those as well!  :)  I also added the "Thank you so Much" sentiment on the scroll .. many more sentiments will be released so you can place different sentiments in your scroll.  Cool huh?!  And then I used the super sweet "Petal Fresh" and "Bonnets and Bowties" papers from Lili of the Valley as well!  :)

LOTV's "Cho" ...

Hello there!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

As you've all probably noticed from my fabulous DT sisters .. there is a new Lili of the Valley release coming out on October 1st!  (Well, if you're lucky and live in the UK .. you'll get to see them on Sept. 28th in Leeds at the opening of their new area upstairs).  Gosh, I wish I could fly there in a wink!!!  Wouldn't that be so fun?!!!  I would LOVE to walk into Lili of the Valley's store and adore everything in there!!!

They're also taking part in the 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.  I'm all for that too!!!  That's AWESOME!!! :)

SooOooO .. the new Little Geisha release .. me oh my oh me oh MY!!  They are absolutely ... DAR-LING!  Totally in love yet again!

I made a card with the lovely "Cho" which is Japanese for 'butterfly'.  Then I added element stamps that you will be able to purchase also!!!  A little cherry blossom branch on the side and a couple butterflies around her.  And I added one of their scroll sentiment stamps on the top corner.  There will be a LOT more element and sentiment stamps .. so many beautiful things you will be able to create with them!!!  sigh ... LoOoOve it!!!

So get ready on Oct. 1st for the new Lili of the Valley Geisha release at their online store!  I'll tell you now ... Crazy sweet once again!!

The Rebel in Me ...

Yesterday, I wanted to take a picture of Max to show you how he's grown.  He's getting to be a big boy!

Well, the little "photo session" of mine turned Max into a bit of a confused Rebel for a bit.  LOL.

First up:

My request, "Max, come here boy!"

Response to owner:  SIT & STAY PUT no matter how many times she asks me to come over.

Max finnnnnallly decides to mosey on over into the room.

My next request, "SIT"

Response to Owner:   I was JUST sitting for her by the door when she kept calling me to come over .. and now she wants me to sit AGAIN?!  Puh-lease!  I'll just do "BANG" instead.

Kay so I FINALLY get Max to "sit" on request to take a quick pic, and he's sloOoOwly making his way back to laying down .. Max's thoughts, "I'm so tired of playing this game ..."

Now my request which always gains him a treat for sure, "BANG!"

Response to Owner, "Whhaaat?  Are you SERIOUS?!!!  I am always ONE STEP AHEAD OF YOU WOMAN!  I already did that like 10 minutes ago!!  Remember when you kept asking me to SIT?!!  Now stop playin' and gimme my treat!!!"

Well ... honestly ... Max WAS right.  lol!  He did do everything one step ahead of me, must've been reading the signs flashing in my brain.  Don't you love the way pets always know what you want?  hehe!  Needless to say, Max got his Pumpkin Apple treat and loved it.  :)

Warm Winter Wishes

Snowflake Christmas Tags .. LOTV

Hello Friends!  Hope you all had a lovely weekend!  It flew by didn't it?

Bodhi and I got up extra early on Sunday .. he had to sing at Chapel for school. :)  It's so amazing watching my little just turned 6 year old boy grow up in front of my eyes and he's getting more and more independent.  After Chapel, we went to the Book Fair, and all the books that I wanted to get for him .. he did NOT want.  LOL!!! 

 I really wanted to get a cute Christmas book about Santa.  Gorgeous illustrations, sounded fun and quirky .. but he gravitated all toward factual books about snakes, spiders, planets ... which we already have a ton of at home.  So, I put my choice back on the shelf.  But that Santa book was so cute .. I think I'm going to sneak and get it for him tomorrow anyways.  hahahahaha!!!!  He will still get his other factual books anyway, so I'll just "slip in" my choice to the order.  LOL!

Speaking of Christmas ... I made these Snowflake Tags using "Furry Festive Friends" from Lili of the Valley.  I'm going to use them with a few of my gifts this year, just attach one of these with string and in the back write a little message.  :)

Hope you're all getting your orders placed with Lili of the Valley ... they're irrisistable aren't they?!  Spoil yourself .. you deserve it!  hehe!
