Happy Holidays ...

Hey You's!  Happy November!  Hope you're all doing wonderfully!

Well, I made my first Christmas card for the year!  I'm trying so hard to make more, but hmmmm ... seems my motivation comes and goes incredibly quick.  It more so goes than stays.  lol.  

So for my first Christmas card, I decided to pull out my Graphic 45 paper and go from there.  A shaker is what I came up with .. shakers are so fun to make aren't they?

I'd love to make about 30 Christmas cards, but honestly ... I can see myself making a total of 3.  OMG right?  hahahaha!

Teacher Appreciation ...

Hello!  Wow .. it's been quite awhile hasn't it?  I hope you've all been doing very well and getting ready for Summer?  Can't believe I'm mentioning "Summer" already!  Whew!

I actually made this card for my Bodhi's teacher at the beginning of this month for Teacher Appreciation week .. and we included a gift card for her inside.  She is such an amazing teacher and Bodhi just adores her to bits .. as we do too!  We're so grateful for all she does!

Christmas Time Is Here ...

Hey Ya's once again!  Hope you all had a great week!

Every year I want to do so many Christmas projects, but before you know it .. time is running out and it seems Christmas arrives in a blink of an eye.  This year is no different .. haha!  The days fly by in a flash.

I made this shaker card over a month ago using some Graphic 45 papers and an old K&Co snow cabin scene chipboard.

I'd also like to enter this into I Am Roses Challenge "Anything Goes" November IAR Challenge.

Hummingbirds ...

Hello there!  I hope you all have been having beautiful days and enjoying the longer hours.

I made a card using some Graphic 45 papers .. and these hummingbirds reminded me of when they come around in our yard.  Our dog Max normally barks at the bigger birds .. but for some odd reason doesn't bark at the smaller ones.  And there was one time when a hummingbird flew so close to Max's face and just hovered staring at him.  It was the funniest thing as they both stared at one another .. I think both trying to figure out what they were.  :)  Wish I'd had a camera in hand as it lasted quite a bit of seconds.

Joy to the World ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're having a wonderful start to yet another week closer to Christmas!

The weather here has finally cooled off somewhat .. and I'm enjoying it a lot.  But can you believe we're supposed to go back up to 70 degrees later this week?  What is happening?!  Isn't that a tad bit warm for the ending of November?  HmMmmM ... 

Well, I made another Christmas card .. using some Graphic 45 papers .. and that silver frame in the center is from Hobby Lobby ...

Birthday Wishes ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you are all having a beautiful week!

A few weeks ago, I made a Birthday card for a beautiful friend of mine who has already celebrated her special day this month.  She really enjoys the Autumnal colors and loves Halloween as well so I used Graphic 45 "Time to Flourish" October papers and cut out some cupcakes from another paper stack I have .. and placed them in the pumpkin garden as well.  :)

Glad Tidings ...

Hey Ya's!  Are you having a lovely week?  I hope so!

Well, we finally had some big thuderstorms all day on Monday .. which brought in some nice chilly weather.  Which lasted about 2 days .. and now it's getting warm again.  sigh .. can you believe it?!  It's October and we keep going back to the warm temperatures.  yuck!  "Bring in the cold!  Bring in the cold!"  .. that's me chanting.  LOL!  ;)

Anyway .. made another Christmas card (probably because I'm wishing for cold weather so terribly .. hehe!).  This time using Graphic 45's "12 Days of Christmas" paper.  I so love G45 .. and have you ever smelled their papers?  OMG!!!!!!  Smells soooo good!  Can't put it into words .. but I so love smelling their papers!  haha!

On this I did some fussy cutting to make it look like this pretty lady is behind all the flowers ...

Sea Star ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you are all doing very well!

Can you believe August is a day away?  sigh .. I certainly can't.  Time really does fly away from us doesn't it?

I made a beach card the other week with some Graphic 45 papers ...

The cut outs are from K & Company which I found at my local JoAnn's store.

To the Beach ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you all are doing very well and enjoying your days!

It is so hot here .. we've already reached up to 114 degrees Fahrenheit .. ugh!  And it's times like these that I wish we had a pool in our own back yard or wish we were back home in Hawaii for a visit!  ;)

A couple months or so ago, I fell in love with Graphic 45 things.  I mean, I've ALWAYS loved G45, but this time I fell hard.  Like .. super hard where I felt like I wanted every single piece of product that they have.  LOL!  What's new about being a crafter right?!  

So one of the papers that I bought was the "By the Sea" collection and here's a couple things I played with for the very first time with Graphic 45:

I have grown to love fussy cutting .. thank you ladies for inspiring me!

There's just something about G45 that makes everything feel so ..... beautifully vintage.  I know this is not my "normal" style .. but gosh ..  thank you so much to the lovely and talented girls Arlene and Tanya for having me fall in love with G45!!!
