Trick or Treat ...

I've made another Halloween shaker treat box card .. this time using a darling image from Mo Manning called "Hobson with Treats".  omgosh .. as soon as I saw this cutie I loved him!  Look at his cute little tongue on the lollipop!  haha!!  I could not resist him!

Sending Kisses ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you all had a beautiful weekend and a very Happy Mother's Day!!!

Every Mother's Day for the past few years .. my hubby will let Bodhi choose a card for me.  And it never fails .. but Bodhi chooses the most PERFECT cards.  It hits my heart and fills me with love .. but this year .. Bodhi's card literally made me cry.  Flat out tears streaming down my cheeks as I opened it to read such beautiful words .. but the card also played the song, "You are my Sunshine".   omword .. every time I hear that song I get so choked up!!!

It makes me think of ... childhood, of purity, of days when grasshoppers and worms were things to look forward to in my backyard as a kid, of singing it to my parents, of love and special friendships.  Makes me think of my Bodhi being born, of how much I love him and how much happiness he brings to my life .. just so many memories and emotions all bundled up in a song.

Annnnnnyway .. lol!  I made a card using a Mo Manning image called "Kissy" that I've had for some time and finally coloured her up.  She makes me smile!  And that pink lace behind is from the lovely Ribbon Girl Store. :)

Enjoy Life ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're all having a lovely week and ready for your weekend!

You know, this school year Bodhi has such a wonderful teacher .. and we love her so much.  And some mornings, I get to speak with her for a few minutes when I walk Bodhi to class.  :)  The other morning while speaking with her before class, the little ones started coming in all wide eyed and bushy tailed .. full of SO much energy and rearing to go!  Jibber jabbering and such ... going 150 miles per hour ...

His teacher and I looked at one another and she must've read my mind because immediately she said, "Wine.  I looooove my wine at night.  I GOTTA have my wine!  It gets me ready for the next day."  ahahahahahahahaha!  :)

Anyways ... I've made time to play with this darling Mo Manning image the other week and coloured her with my Distress Reinkers.

I've used some beautiful yummies from the GORGEOUS Ribbon Girl store such as:
Wooden Hearts along with some pieces of Edwina Lace as wings, Amelia Lace, Seam Binding, Pink Pleated Satin Ribbon weaved in the fence, Sweetheart Blossoms and Rosebuds.  :)
