Christmas is Over?

Hello You's!  Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas filled with everything you wanted it to be!  Can you believe it's over already?  :(

We had a nice quiet Christmas .. I love spending it at home .. all cozy and snuggly in jammies all day.  ;)  Of course I wish we could have had my family in town .. but maybe next year.  Bodhi had a wonderful day .. he loved every single bit of gifts and cards he received!

So these are my last Christmas cards I did for this year ...

This first one is an image by Elisabeth Bell which I used distress reinkers, prisma pencils and watercolors on:

These next set of cards I used lace to make the Christmas tree ones:

I also wanted to wish you all a very beautiful and Happy New Year!!!  May it be filled with lots of love, happiness and great health!!!  Be safe!

Thank you so much for all of your visits and I'll see you once again next year!  ;)

Big hugs,

Elise

Santa Stop Here ...

Hey You's!  Are you all doing well and keeping warm?  I hope so!

Christmas is right around the corner once again.  I'm not sure how it's gotten here so quick, but it has.  Are you ready for the big day?  I think we've gotten everything we needed (I hope we have).  Bodhi is ready ... more so ready since he's looking forward to no school.  ;)  hehe!

I've played with my Lili of the Valley stamps and coloured it with distress reinkers, prisma pencils and watercolours.

Hope you finished all of your Christmas cards you wanted to get done!  I know I certainly didn't .. lol.  Thank you so much for your visit and keep safe!  If I don't see you again before Christmas .. have a verrrry Merry Christmas filled with lots of love, joy and laughter!

Hugs,

Elise

Warm Hugs & Kisses ...

Hey You's!  Time is flying by right?  Hope you've all been well!

It's nearing December, and I can't believe the weather we've been having.  It's quite warm for this time of year .. we were in the high 70's for quite awhile .. and only now dropping to mid 60's.  And those who know me well .. know I love my chilly weather.  So I wish the cold weather would hurry up and swoosh in any minute now.  ;)

I made this Christmas card over a span of about a month.  Let me tell you, the struggle is real.  LOL.  Why is it when I would like to get a whole lot more Christmas cards done ..the motivation is just .. gone?

This sweet little girl is by the fabulous Elisabeth Bell, and I rec'd her when I was on the Belles n' Whistles DT years ago.  I couloured her up with Distress Reinkers, Twinkling H2O's and watercolours.

Thank you so much for visiting me even though I don't post as often as I'd like to.  I wish you a most WONDERFUL day!!  :)

Hugs,

Elise

Happy Holidays ...

Hey You's!  Happy November!  Hope you're all doing wonderfully!

Well, I made my first Christmas card for the year!  I'm trying so hard to make more, but hmmmm ... seems my motivation comes and goes incredibly quick.  It more so goes than stays.  lol.

So for my first Christmas card, I decided to pull out my Graphic 45 paper and go from there.  A shaker is what I came up with .. shakers are so fun to make aren't they?

I'd love to make about 30 Christmas cards, but honestly ... I can see myself making a total of 3.  OMG right?  hahahaha!

Well, thank you so much for stopping by and I wish you a most WONDERFUL day!

Hugs,

Elise

Jolly Holly ...

Hello there!  Hope you've all been doing well .. and for those in the U.S. .. hope you all had a beautiful Thanksgiving!  And hope you all had happy Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping too!

Christmas is sneaking up rather quickly ... sigh.  I truly do love the holidays .. but so don't like how the days whiz by.  Watching my Bodhi grow up .. gosh ..it's too fast for my liking.  How much I would love to go back to the day he was born and do it from the start again.  :)  hehe.

Speaking of days flying .. I finished this card a few weeks ago.  Had lots of fun colouring this sweet LOTV image from long ago (which only seemed like yesterday).  Used Tim Holtz distress reinkers, Prisma pencils and watercolors for this:

Thank you so much for visiting me and I so appreciate it!  Would love to hear from you!

Wishing you a beautiful day!

Hugs,

Elise

Christmas Time Is Here ...

Hey Ya's once again!  Hope you all had a great week!

Every year I want to do so many Christmas projects, but before you know it .. time is running out and it seems Christmas arrives in a blink of an eye.  This year is no different .. haha!  The days fly by in a flash.

I made this shaker card over a month ago using some Graphic 45 papers and an old K&Co snow cabin scene chipboard.

I'd also like to enter this into I Am Roses Challenge "Anything Goes" November IAR Challenge.

Thank you so much for visiting me and I wish you all a beautiful weekend!

Guest for Glimps ...

Hey ya's!  Happy November!  Hope you're all doing very well!

I am a Guest Designer over at the Glimps for today!  Thank you to the sweet artist behind the images .. Veronica .. for asking me to join your amazing team for today.  It is an honor!

I couldn't help but choose this cute steampunk Teddy Bear and turn it into a Christmas card.  Please check out the Glimps Store as it is filled with so many darling digi's!  Here is the card I did:

Thank you so very very much Veronica for being so kind & sweet .. truly enjoyed colouring this precious little bear of yours!

Wishing you all a most wonderful day!

Elise

Frosty the Snowman ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're all doing very well!

Can you believe we're not far away from Halloween?!  My Bodhi has decided to be a Storm Trooper from Star Wars once again.  :)

I've been making some Christmas things here & there .. I so love making Christmas things!!  This snowman stamp is from Hobby Lobby and the background was made with Lindy Stamp Gang magicals.  The poinsettia's were made from the Tim Holtz die cut and I just coloured it with his distress inks.  :)

Thank you so much for visiting me and I wish you all a most beautiful day!

Christmas Carols ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're all doing very well!

A couple of years ago, I made a card a little similar to this .. with the LOTV Christmas Carols at the front of the card made into a little booklet.  I decided to make it again, but with different embellishments.  :)

I enjoy making Christmas cards .. just can't seem to make them fast enough.  So .. hmmm .. making them all year round sounds a bit appealing to me.  hehe.

Thank you so much for visiting me and I wish you all a most BEAUTIFUL day!

Hugs,

Elise

Dreaming of a White Christmas ...

Hey Ya's!  It's officially Autumn!  Do you love this time of year like I do?

I get that "cozy" feeling when I think of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up.  Of course I don't like how quick time is going, but still .. I love knowing the holidays are right around the corner.  I enjoy the longer nights and the chilly weather .. makes me think of hot cocoa (with a big dash of coffee in it for me) with marshmallows.  MmMmm!

I've made a Christmas shaker a few weeks ago ..

I used lovely flowers that I won from I Am Roses and the sweet sentiment is from LOTV.

Thank you so much for visiting me and I wish you a most BEAUTIFUL day!

Hugs,

Elise

Christmas Shakers ...

Hey Ya's!  Big day coming up!  Are you ready?!

I really did have a lot of fun making Christmas cards this year.  These were all shaker cards except the one in front with the flowers .. I know she enjoys flowers a lot.  ;)  I used a lovely stamp given to me from a special friend on the shaker cards with the multicolored background which I applied white embossing powder.

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me in such a busy time of the year .. I truly do appreciate it!  Wishing you all a very safe and beautiful week .. and hope to see you again before The Big Day!  ;)

Hugs,

Elise

Dashing Thru the Snow ...

Hey Ya's!  Happy October 1st!  Wowwww .. can you believe it?  Another month has flown by and we are getting closer and closer to another new year .. eeeeek!

I've made my first Christmas card .. yup .. I am so ready for the Winter months as it is so hot here still.  I am tired of the heat so if any of you can send some cold weather this way .. I'd be truly grateful.  ;)

Okay, so I've seen shaker cards around for awhile as all of you lovely crafters have already done them .. I think I may be the only one who has not done one until now.  ;)  I thought they'd be difficult .. but it is actually quite fun and easier than I imagined!

This wooden sled was from Michaels that I purchased last year .. I painted it with gesso, then covered it with lots of glitter (which of course is not visible in the photos .. grrrrrr!).  I put some seed beeds and sequins in the shaker .. so much fun I want to make more!  haha.

I'd like to enter this into the I am Roses Challenge .. "Anything Goes"

I really want to thank you for stopping by to visit me .. I appreciate it so much!

Wishing you a most beautiful day and hope to see you again soon!

Hugs,

Elise
