I received a gift card for my birthday to Crafteezee back in January .. and definitely had such a wonderful time shopping in her beautiful store!  These Mintay papers were just one of the stacks I decided to try .. and so happy with my decision .. as these papers are so lovely!  And definitely would recommend Tracy's store .. she is soooo helpful and such a love!

Every Year I Fall For ...

Hello You's!  Are you ready for Halloween?  I think we are!  ;)  

I had my family from Hawaii here in town for a week .. sigh .. gotta tell you .. it never gets any easier to say goodbye when they leave.  My parents, oldest sister, brother in law, niece and one of my nephews came and .. it was way too short a visit.  Of course as always .. Bodhi had such a wonderful time with everyone .. and like me ... had a difficult time saying goodbye.  Until next time right?

Have you all gotten your Halloween things ready?  :)  It seems it has snuck up quite quickly this year for us .. can't believe it's only 5 days away.

I made this card a few weeks ago.  The sentiment is sooooo cute which I found on Pinterest!  It says, "Every year I fall for Pumpkins, Bonfires, S'mores, Autumn Leaves, Apples & You".  Omgosh .. I simply smiled as soon as I saw this sentiment and knew I had to put it on a card.  :)

Bird Set Free ...

Bodhi Summer vacation is coming to a close and lemme tell you .. he's not a happy camper.  To be honest .. neither am I.  Every year when Summer comes to close, I get a bit down in the dumps.  I know it's silly, but I really do miss my Bodhi when he goes back to school.  sigh ...

Anyway, I had fun making this a couple weeks ago.  No colouring .. just straight up lace, flowers, pearls .. all little doo dads.  ;)

Love Every Day ...

Hello there!  Hope you are all doing well and staying nice and cool now that it's Summer?

We've already reached 115 degrees F here in town .. lemme tell you .. it is dis-gus-ting-ly gross!  blaugh!  Thank goodness for air conditioning right?  hehe!

So I've been digging around in my old supplies and decided to colour another darling Elisabeth Bell image with a combination of Distress Reinkers, Prisma Pencils and Watercolors.  

I just love looking at her and feeling like she's reflecting on the past, present and thinking of the future .. and being grateful for every single day ...

Wish You Were Here ...

Hello You's!  Hope you're all doing wonderfully and the sun is shining on you!

Okay, seriously .. it's going to be June.  Ummmm .. where in the world does the time go?  I honestly can't take it!  My "little" Bodhi is not so little anymore!  I remember telling you all about his Kindergarten singing .. moving his little hands in the air whilst he sang.  Now .. he's ending his Elementary days and will be entering Middle School in the Fall.  uggggh!  Nooooooo!  Please can I have him little once again?  hehehe!

Well, this image from Elisabeth Bell reminds me of many days ago .. a time when Bodhi was still little .. and remains to be one of my faves.  I've also used some Lili of the Valley stamps on the sides of the image .. I truly love LOTV images as well!

I coloured this image with Distress Inks and watercolors, and beautiful flowers from I Am Roses.

A special friend of mine bought an online crafting gift card for me on my Birthday, and this Maja Design Summertime papers is one of the things I chose.  I could not resist these beautiful Summer colors .. it's so refreshing and makes me think of strawberries and watermelons.  ;)

Teacher Appreciation ...

I actually made this card for my Bodhi's teacher at the beginning of this month for Teacher Appreciation week .. and we included a gift card for her inside.  She is such an amazing teacher and Bodhi just adores her to bits .. as we do too!  We're so grateful for all she does!

Hey Ya's!  Happy Valentines Day!  Hope your day is filled with all kinds of goodness and love from your special one!  May you get spoiled with everything you want and hope for!

And of course the feeling of love is not complete with thoughts of our special dear friends in our lives.  Treasures .. for sure.

These little birdies remind me not only a couple speaking soft loving words.  But also reminded me of sweet best friends sharing tender moments of encouragement or a much needed story for a good laugh .. which we all definitely need too!

Hey Ya's!  Days are flying by .. it's February already .. and hope you're all doing well!  And for those in the US that watched the Superbowl ... wowwww .. hope you had an amazing time on eggshells like we did!  lol!

Have you had paper that you loved and just could not bear to cut into?  Well, for me .. it seems like I feel that way about most of my papers.  eeeeek right?  ;)  But I think I'm getting better and realizing, "Every new release comes out with even more beautiful papers you'll want to use."  So, I'm digging in!

These Lemoncraft papers are from a beautiful friend a couple of years ago and let's face it .. it's about time I to cut into these babies.  haaaaa!  :)

Enjoy the Journey ...

Hey Ya's!  Are you all doing fine?  I hope so!

I've been making some Starbucks hot chocolate for my little Bodhi and then .. stealing a little to add in my coffee.  OoOoh heaven!  ;)  Top both of our cups with whipped cream ... sigh .. definite smiles on both our lips.  ;)  Perfect way to warm a chilly day.

For the time being, I've been having fun putting things together.  Been going through my supplies and falling in love with them all over again.

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're having a beautiful day so far!

It's been so nice and chilly here in town .. and those of you who know me well know I love a good chill.  I prefer the cooler temps over the extreme heat we have here ... I love the cuddling to keep warm ... rather than the "keep a distance because I'm sweating".  haaaaaa!  :)

I'm still enjoying the ventures of cooking .. looove finding good recipes to try.  But I must tell you .. I'm a horrid disorganized baker.  lol!  I'm going to keep working on it though.  ;)  And in the midst of all this, have fallen in love with planting succulents .. ooOoOo they're so darling!

I put together my first card of the year, looked at it and said, "Ummmm .. no."  It's gone .. in the bin.  LOL!  I tried again and came up with this .. as I know she loves cats ..  A very simple card but enough to get going through my craft things again.

I'm still enjoying trying lots of new recipes that I find on the internet, I mean seriously, never in a million years would I think I'd enjoy cooking.  haaa!  For those living in the US, we have Thanksgiving coming up .. and I'm going to be trying a Paula Deen pumpkin cheesecake recipe for our dessert.  omgosh .. cross your fingers it turns out well because I won't be purchasing a back up dessert.  eeeek!  ;)

Goodbye Summer ...

My Bodhi started school this week .. gotta tell you .. no matter how many times I think it will get easier for me .. it really doesn't.  I get so sad, feel a bit under the weather, I miss him like crazy .. in other words .. I'm a hot mess for the first few days of him returning to school EVERY. SINGLE YEAR.  lol!

Well, I finished this card a couple weeks ago .. and I started this at the beginning of June!  haha!  It's just been sitting on my desk until I finally decided to get it off before summer actually ended.  omg.  :)

My Bodhi is almost done with another school year .. he's excited for Summer vacation to arrive.  I totally remember the feeling .. seems like just yesterday I used to be anxious for school to be out for the summer too.  :)  

The only thing that makes me feel sad is knowing that every Summer is coming faster and faster .. before you know it .. Bodhi will be all grown up.  *sniff sniff*
