A Lot To Share

Hello Friends!  Well, I have quite a bit to share with you on today's post .. hehe!  First, I want to share a card with you that I completed a few weeks ago just for fun.  :)  Thank you Chelsea for another gorgeous image to play with!  I love her!

Next, I want to thank Cami for presenting me with this super cool award!  Awww!  You make me feel so special!!  Thank you thank you thank you .. I so appreciate this!  I hope you will all visit Cami as she has such a beautiful blog with so many lovely projects and she's such a SWEETIE PIE!

And then, I want to thank Christina for a most wonderful surprise!  I had no idea she was pulling names from her comment section, and she surprised me with a most generous gift code for $50 to shop at Magnolia-licious!!!  OMG!  Talk about hitting off the New Year with a heart pounder!  LOL!  Thank you SO much Christina .. I truly appreciate it!  I hope you will all visit Christina as well .. her blog is also full of creativity and beauty and she is yet another SWEETIE PIE!

Last but not least, on January 3rd, we all woke up to find this outside in our backyard:

Yep!  Snow in Las Vegas!  We haven't had snow covering our backyard since 2008, so this was a very nice surprise!  Those footsteps you see in the snow?  Those are my aunt's.  She came over from Hawaii to stay with us for a couple weeks and help me .. and apparently she was out there before the rest of use woke and twirling in the snow .. in her THIN NIGHTGOWN!!!  LOL!!!  She's hilarious!  :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Happy New Year my lovely blogging friends!!!  May your New Year be filled with tons of love, happiness, laughter and great health!  :)

Well, since it's the first of the month, what better way to kick off the New Year of 2011 than start off with CLP'S new challenge?!!!  Yayyy!  As you know, our most mega-talented Chelsea has created another fabulous sketch for us to play with!  Thanks Chel!  And guess what?!!!  Chel's own Gurlee Girl store will be sponsoring us!  Woooohoooo!

Did ya see the new Gurlee's?!!!  Ahhhh!  I love love love them!  And I'm playing with one right now for this sketch challenge!  :)  I actually have been trying to play with my cards on the days that I feel good (which is always right before my next chemo treatment) .. so this card was done a couple of weeks ago.  Yayy!  :)

I'm using Christmas Angel Avie as a Birthday angel here.  My clear acrylic tag says "Make a Wish" ... I believe this little cutie can make any wish come true!  hehe!

Alright, let me give you a quick low-down on my show-down .. lol!  I've finished my 4th chemo treatment on Dec. 21st!!!  Wooohooo!  So, I have 2 more to go!  Each treatment gets harder .. but I'm hanging tough!  I want to Thank All of You so MUCH for being here with me .. giving me your constant support and love and encouraging words!  Your comments and emails are unbelievably uplifting!  Thank you!!

Crafting Life's Pieces Challenge #23

Hi Friends!  Hope you're all having a great weekend!  Today I finally went to give my hair a "trim", and my hairdresser did more than just a "trim".  She was a bit happy with the scissors, and cut my hair all the up to my COLLARBONE!!!  We were so busy yapping about movies and shows, and she just kept snipping away with the scissors ... and yep ... she must've cut about 6 inches off my hair!

Well, it's just hair, and it'll grow back to where I'd like it to be in about 5 YEARS!!!!  LOL!  I'm kidding!  I love my hairdresser, she rocks!
