Lili of the Valley Blog Hop!!!

Hello there!  I hope you are all having a beautiful week so far!  :)

Today we are holding a Lili of the Valley design team blog hop to celebrate the launch of their gorgeous new Christmas products!  (OMW ... they are DARLING!)  This 2014 collection is an adorable mix of 22 cute character stamps:  new vintage boys & girls, snowmen, penguins and angels!

The stamps will be available to buy on the LOTV website from midnight on Friday August 1st (UK time) along with new Christmas paper pads and some useful clear stamp sets (Christmas sentiments, carols and mini images and also some everyday recipes).

The LOTV design team are all joining in, you just need to ‘hop’ from one blog to another following the links and leave a comment on each card, hopefully we can give you lots of ideas and inspiration along the way for using the new images.

As always there are fabulous prizes up for grabs on this hop, we don’t know where they are hidden so do make sure you that you visit and comment on every blog.  ;)  We will let you know tomorrow evening at the LOTV Inspirational Blog which were the ‘lucky’ blogs and the winners will be drawn at random from all the comments that were left on those blogs. 

We have a full set of the new Christmas image stamps to give away;

1^st prize is the 12 angels, penguins and snowmen

2^nd prize is the 10 vintage children

 I've also used some lovely goodies from the Ribbon Girl store such as the Red Crushed Velvet Lace and Monique Lace.  :)

Winter Wonderland ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you all had a beautiful weekend!

I have a Lili of the Valley Sneak Peek for you .. this little cutie is called "Ice Christmas".  I've also used some sentiments that will be available in this upcoming release.  The papers are from "Festive Trimmings" and the little holly berries and leaves by my flowers are cut out from the "Woodland Wishes" paper. 

These new darlings that you're seeing will be released on August 1st at LOTV's online store .. and I can't even tell you how much I love them ALL!

The lace is from the Ribbon Girl Store:  Crushed Velvet Lace and Phoebe Lace.

Birthday Wishes ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're all having a beautiful week!

I can't believe Bodhi's summer is half over already .. omgosh.  :(  We're already seeing school supplies at the front of the stores already!  Whaaaaaaat???  I feel like the summer JUST started!  sigh ...

Anyways .. I've made a card using a couple of the LOTV Grunge stamps .. "Set 53 Flora and Fauna" and then I cut the cherub out from the other stamp and placed it at the top of the rose image.  I added my own metal wing and crown on the cherub.

I've also used some beautiful Ribbon Girl goodies such as:  Phoebe Lace, Alice Lace, Ivory Jute Mesh Ribbon, Small White Lilies, White Rose Buds, MF Organza Pouf Ribbon, and Seam Binding.

Dashing Through the Snow ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're all having a beautiful weekend!

Well, I've a little sneak peek for you with one of Lili of the Valley's DARLING little boys from the upcoming Christmas release!  This one is "Sledging Fun" along with a sentiment that will also be released too (gotta tell you .. these sentiment sheets are FAB-U-LOUS!  You're gonna go nuts over them as well!)  hehe!

I've also used papers from "Timeless Victorian", "Beach Bliss" and "Simply Joys" to use with my die cuts too.

Okay, now when you look at this image .. doesn't it make you want to squeal .. "Wheeeeeeeee!" cause you just know he's going full speed down ahead!  hahaha!

Christmas Recipes to Warm Your Heart ...

Hey Ya's!  I hope you are all having a BEAUTIFUL week so far!

I'm sure you already know that LOTV is coming out with their first Christmas release for this year .. and let me tell you .. OMG .. it's just GOR-GEOUS!!!!!!  You will love each and every single one and it will melt your heart!!!

My first sneak peek for you is of a couple Recipe Cards that will come in a set of 4 .. and you KNOW how much I loved these Recipe Cards a couple years back too right?!  They've come out with new ones this year and I got so excited when I saw these new ones!!

This new release will soon be available to you at LOTV around the beginning of August!

On this card I've also used some yummy goodies from the Ribbon Girl store such as:

Thank You ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're all having a lovely weekend!

I am finally here with a card.  :)  It's a new Lovely Lili Challenge over at the Ribbon Girl .. and this time it is "Thank You"!  :)

As always, I've been so happy to use sweet goodies from the gorgeous Ribbon Girl Store such as:

Laila Lace (from a dear friend of mine .. thank you!), Monique Lace, Ivory Pearl Flower Trim, Jute Mesh Ribbon, Pink Rose Hessian Ribbon, Satin Pink Baby's Breath Flower, Ivory Dove, Floribunda Roses Antique Lilac Mix, Wooden Heart, Seam Binding, Cheesecloth

I've used an older LOTV image called "Summer Garden Angel" and added some of my flowers onto her bouquet.  Then I cut out larger wings and lifted them for a 3d effect.  I've also stamped some words from "Set 66 - Grunge Elements" on the sides of her.  :)

Altered Dress Form ...

Hey Ya's!  I hope you are all having a beautiful week so far and ready for the weekend!  :)

Well, today I have something quite different to show you .. I've altered my first metal dress form and I had a B-L-A-S-T!  Yes, I burned my fingers at least 20 times, and even blistered and tore my skin with one of the burns from the hot glue dripping on my fingers .. but I thoroughly enjoyed putting this together .. hahahaha!

This metal dress form is almost 2 feet tall (YES!  Tall right?!  LOL!)  and she's decorated with lots of flowers, bling, lace, tulle, yarn, pearls, and gems all from my stash.

Here's a closeup of her top half .. and do you see that heart tucked in there where our own heart would be?  :)  The large flower by her waist is actually pink (but it looks orange here) .. I bought that flower 4 years ago .. and have finally found the perfect project to use it for.  :)

I've added little metal flowers with bling all around her dress:

And I've added a string of pearls and crystals on the side of all that ribbon:
