You Make My Heart Dance

Hello!!!  August is here!  Oh my goodness gracious!  How is this possible?  I mean, by 8pm the sun has gone completely down here, and it's pretty much dark.  I swear this is not supposed to happen until like September!  It's going to be Halloween before you know it .. and that reminds me!  I went to Michaels and Joann's the other day, and they not only had Halloween things but CHRISTMAS things out too!  sigh ... time just whooshes .. yes .. whooshes ... is that an actual word?  lol .. well for me it is!  ;)

Anyhow our Beary Scrap Challenge is a "Clean and Simple" sketch by our lovely Susan!  I actually enjoyed this!!! Thank you Susan!

Always in My Thoughts

Hey Friends!  Well, the week is winding down, are you doing anything special this weekend?  I think for us, if the weather keeps up being as hot as it is, we'll just try to stay indoors as much as possible!  My gosh, it's sooooo freakishly hot here ... either that, or my tolerance to heat is getting very thin.  lol!

Anyway, I've made a card using A Child's Prayer from

Belles 'n Whistles.  (Now you see what Blogger is doing to me?!!!  I can't do more than one link per line!!!  Argggh!  Are any of you having these problems as well?  Or am I just one of those "lucky" people who is "one in a million"?  LOL!)

Heart Full of Hugs

Hello!  Hope you are all having a great Wednesday!  As you already know from the lovely Susan, this week at The Beary Scrap blog, we are using the colors Pink, Yellow and Brown!  I love it!!!

I decided to made a gatefold card, and halfway through it, I'm deciding to do extra things to it, and *ahem*, I'm still not completely done with it!  lol!!!  But, I've enjoyed doing this tremendously, since I've not done a gatefold card in a long long time!  :)

And I decided to use an Easter Magnolia stamp ... which in my opinion, can be used for almost anything at all!  Tilda looks like she's thoroughly enjoying her company with this little baby lamb, and I think it can be interpreted in any way you'd like.  For me ... a sign of friendship and hugs!!  :)  Don't you hold a friendship with both hands and treasure it dearly?!  Yes, you most certainly do .. just like Tilda is holding her little dear friend here!  :)

Yes, going through making this card, I thought "Hey, why not put a couple of portraits of Tilda's on the inside tags?"  lol!  I had a lot of fun making this!

A Blessing

Hi Friends!  Happy Monday to all of you!  I hope your weekend was filled with lots of fun and laughter, and also hope you stayed cool in this HEAT we're having!  ugh!  For the past few days here in Vegas it's been like 112 degrees ... omg ... it's like walking into an oven when you go outside ... lol!  I go outside and in 2 minutes, I find the top of my nose is a little damp!  I'm like, "My nose SWEATS?!"  lol!  Well, it sure does now ... especially since we have a little humidity too!  argh!

Anyway, that's enough about gross sweating!  LOL!  This week at Belles 'n Whistles the challenge is "Distressing"!  Isn't distressing fun?!  Like do it when you're upset about something .... oooooh ... it's so much fun to be tearing into those papers and, and, and going nuts with the distressing tool or scissors!  LOL!  Oh but go easy if you're REALLY upset .. you may just end up downright ripping all your papers to shreds!  LOL!

Well, even though I wasn't upset about anything, I still had fun with distressing this card ... lol ... and I used Sweet Dreams!  ahhhh, this image kinda reminds my of my little boy.  He'd sleep like this with his little tushy in the air, and I thought it was the sweetest thing ever!!!  And those chunky little legs ... oh gosh!!!!  I'd bite them (softly of course!!!), and in fact, I still do!  hehe!  He giggles and giggles, and tells me, "Mommy STOP!!!"  Then one second later he's putting his legs on me as a hint for me to bite it again!!!  What a tease!  lol!

A Fairy Tale Dream

Hi Friends!  Happy Happy Friday!  Yayyy!  It's the end of the week, and I hope this is the beginning of a BEAUTIFUL weekend for all of you!

One thing I want to mention really quickly ... Blogger has been giving me a wee bit of problems lately.  Sometimes I try to post comments to other blogs .. and it won't let me.  Also, when I try to "Publish" some comments that people leave me .. it won't let me.  Aaaaand last but not least, when I try to include links on my post .. oh my gosh .. it's giving me PROBLEMS!!!  Soooo, please accept my apologies for a slight mess that hopefully will go away TODAY!!!  LOL!!!!

Well, for this post, I've decided to use  Fairy Play from Belles 'n Whistles.  Ohhh how much I love her, well, her and all the others .. lol!!!  Isn't she so dreamy?!  I want her to be fluttering above me when I dream, and sprinkling some of her fairy dust on me.  hehe!  And now what does this little cutie patootie have in her little sack?  Well, I think when I woke up in the morning, she'd have surrounded me with all kinds of crafting supplies!  ;)

Wonderful You

Hey Friends!  Happy Wednesday to you ... hope your week is flowing along smoothly thus far!!  lol!  This new challenge at The Beary Scrap blog, we're doing "Emboss It (Wet or Dry)".  I was pretty excited for this since I've actually had limited use on my Cuttlebug as far as embossing goes!  lol!  So what I did was I dry embossed the 2 front panels of my card and then swiped over it with a white inkpad.

I really had fun doing it ... it's always a bit "questionable" when you haven't done something in ages, and afraid of ruining paper.  lol!  But I did it, and thank goodness it worked!
