Ribbon Girl Anything Goes!!!

HAPPY DECEMBER!  Wow, can you believe it's the last month of the year again?!  Holy smokes!  Another beautiful year coming to an end ... and another gorgeous year ready to begin!  Whew!

Hope you all had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving .. such a special time with family and friends!

Well, this month of December we're having "Anything Goes" Challenge at the Ribbon Girl blog!!!  Wooohooo!  Easy peasy for everyone!

My project is a Christmas stocking with all sorts of yummy goodies from the Ribbon Girl store!  sigh .. truly had a fun time with their laces!!

LOTV Blog Hop!!!

Good morning everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Time for another Lili of the Valley design team blog hop to celebrate the launch of their 10 adorable new Baby stamps!

The 10 new babies will be available at the Christmas event in the shop on Saturday and then on the website from midday Monday 2^nd.

Vote LOTV British Craft Awards! And a Vintage Card ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you are all doing very well in this season so far!

I've been busy with so many other things, and my little Bodhi is off from school for the entire week too (so it's even BUSIER).  :)  Are you ready for Thanksgiving?  We are!  We are!  Ready to get our grooves on and cook all day long .. and plump up at night!  lol!  And instead of a pumpkin pie .. we'll be doing pumpkin cheesecake!!!  mMmM!  Doesn't that sound yum?  We've never tried it, so crossing our fingers that it will be good.  ;)

So I've made a shabby Christmas card to share with you .. along with some other wonderful news!

And now on to the wonderful news!!!!  

The Lili of the Valley Ideas to Inspire blog and stamp range have both been nominated for an award!!

They have been shortlisted for the 2014 British Craft Awards and what we would love you all to do is to  visit www.britishcraftawards.com, click on the vote in craft categories and then vote for Lili of the Valley in 'Most Inspirational Craft Blog' and 'Stamp Range You Couldn't Resist'  It would be amazing if they won, especially when it’s voted for by you, the lovely customers!!!!  ;)

Here's how to vote:

Firstly you need to go to  http://www.britishcraftawards.com/ and select to vote in the craft categories

The first section is the one that seems to be confusing people as you need to select a region, this is not where you live, it is the location of the shop you are voting for. You can really choose any of them from this category but if you don’t have a preference just tick ‘other’ in any of the regions

The next question is craft retailer who went the extra mile. You can vote from the list or you might like to choose ‘other’ and write Lili of the Valley in the box

It does ask for a reason on some of these questions but if you don’t want to write anything you may just put . which will allow you to move onto the next category

Next is best online retailer, it does say UK but you must vote to move on so again it would lovely if you selected ‘other’ and wrote Lili of the Valley in the box

Next is about craft chain stores so you can vote or just opt for ‘don’t visit them’

Now it’s us, we’re nominated for the most inspirational craft blog 

Next is favourite paper craft range, again you can vote or select other and write Lili of the Valley in the box if you love our papers and art pads

Now us again, this one is stamp range you couldn’t resist

We would really be over the moon if we could win these 2 awards especially as it’s voted for by our customers

Reindeer Lala

LOTV Sneak Peek!

Hey Ya's!  Hope you are all having a beautiful weekend!

I'm sure you've all heard by now ... Lili of the Valley is having yet another SWEET release!  OoOh these little darlings are just way too cute to resist!  PRE-CIOUS!!!!!!  :)

And it seems like just yesterday my little Bodhi was born .. and now .. he's a big boy with big feelings and big ideas!  hehe!  He still says the funniest things you know?  Like the other day, my hubby had to steer our dog Max's nose out of his dinner plate, and he told Max, "Go and eat YOUR food Max!"  And Bodhi told my hubby, "Hey!  Don't talk to my brother like that!  I am so NOT serious!"

My hubby and I almost had our food come out of our noses from laughing so hard!  Bodhi was like, "I'm really NOT serious!"  So I said, "Do you mean .. you're not JOKING?"  hahahaha!!!  Bodhi started giggling and says, "Yes!  I am not JOKING!"  LOL!  ;)

Well, my sneak peek for you today is called, "Bang the Drum" coloured with distress inks and I've added a sticker sentiment that I've had in my stash for years!  Doesn't it say it all?  haha .. yes .. Boys will be Boys .. that's for sure!  Always making noise, always banging things around, always running, always .. doing SOMETHING!!!!  I so looooove little boys!  :)

Ribbon Girls .. Add Sparkle

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're all having a beautiful weekend!

It's time for another Lovely Lili Challenge over at the Ribbon Girls .. and this time it's so easy again .. "ADD SPARKLE"!!!  Easy peasy and something we all love to do!  :)

I've been so lucky to use beautiful goodies from the Ribbon Girls Store on here .. such as Emily Lace, Pearl Small Flourishes, Large Ivory Rose Buds and Stickles.

And I've used a DARLING Lili of the Valley image from last Christmas .. called "Snow Queen" with a sweet sentiment from "Set 35 Christmas Handwritten Phrases".

The little wreath up in the corner was bought from Michaels .. and I cut off the red bow to add a white one, sprinkled it up with some red/blue/gold color, and added little pearls to it.  :)

Rockin' and a Rollin' ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're all having a beautiful week!  :)

Have you all gotten in your orders at Lili of the Valley with the new Girls Release?  Aren't they the sweetest things?!!!  Oh my ... I love them so!

I have one last girl to show you from this recent release, and this one is called "Dancing Queen".  I love it when kids dance like no one is watching you know?  They just GO FOR IT and most of the time .. they just flat out don't care who's looking.  ;)

Example ... lol ... my little Bodhi just LOVES to shake his booty.  Side to side, fast and slow .. round and round .. every which way .. he just LOVES to shake it.  Sometimes he's embarrassed to dance around people, but other times .. he will do it all for free.  ;)  

Once when my family was here in town, my Dad took Bodhi to the grocery store and said that Bodhi was giving his booty shaking at the Deli Counter for everyone waiting in line.  Omgosh right?!  lol!  And that's exactly what my Dad said ... "Oh my God."  hahaha!

sigh .. to be young and carefree again ... ;)

So .. here's my "Dancing Queen" .. and she has not a single care in the world!  hehe!
