LOTV Sneak Peek!

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're all having a beautiful week so far!

My little Bodhi has started school again on Monday .. and boy oh boy .. he cried the last 2 nights at bedtime because he didn't want to go back to school.  :(  But as soon as we got to school .. he was happy to see his friends again and jumped right in!  :)  Yayyyy! 

Well, as you've already seen .. LOTV is coming out with another DARLING release starring our furry friends!  Awwwww .. soooo sweet!  They will be released on January 13th!!!  :)

And this one for today is called "James Laptop" .. kinda reminds us of US right?!  hahaha!!!!!!!  And looks like James is looking at your blogs and saying, "ooOoh!  How BEAUTIFUL!  I love it!"  ;)

Happy New Year and a Ribbon Girl Giveaway!!!

I've finally completed a card that I can show you .. whew!  lol!  My little Bodhi is still on vacation .. so not a lot of time for me to play in here .. but more time to enjoy with him!  :)

This little darling is LOTV's "Pretty Bouquet" .. it's been a long time since I've coloured her and couldn't resist making something with her once again.

I've also used some yummies from The Ribbon Girl store such as the beautiful charm "Daisy May", Kort & Godt rolled flowers, Ivory Pleated Ribbon, cheesecloth, and stickles.

Made With Love ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're all having a wonderful week so far!

Bodhi is almost on his Christmas vacation .. and he simply cannot wait for school to be out!  lol!  He's so excited that Christmas is around the corner and he's already planning our movie nights (with popcorn and hot cocoa if I may add)!  hehe!!  ;)

Today I've a card to share with you using the SWEET LOTV "Cosy Pram" along with papers from "Always and Forever" and "Petal Fresh".  I so love this image .. it's absolutely ADORABLE!

And I've added on the charm "Made with Love" ... cause .. you know ... babies are MADE with love?!  hehehehehe!  ;)

A lot of the yummy goodies on here is from the lovely Ribbon Girl store!  I so love the goodies in there!!  I've used Pink Embroidered Tulle Lace, Teresa Lace, Ivory Roses Kort & Godt, Cheesecloth, Stardust Stickles, Flat Pearls from there.  :)

Kids Christmas Craft Challenge!

Just for kids aged 16 and under

We know lots of you like to make cards or do various other crafts when your Mums, Aunties, Grandmas, Nannas, carers and big sisters and so on are making cards or colouring in so we thought it would be nice to have a special challenge JUST FOR KIDS!

The challenge will run from 11am Sunday 15th December until 9pm on Saturday 28th December.

The winners will be announced on New Years Eve - we're sure you will have some time to fill in before Christmas and maybe some spare time between Christmas and New Year - you might even be hoping to get some new craft things in your Christmas stocking and this is a great opportunity to put them to good use.

There will be 3 prizes of crafty goodies and the challenge will be judged by 3 well known UK crafters

  Kath Stewart  well known Freelance Craft Designer, Craft Tutor & Demonstrator for Fiskars

The winners will have their project displayed here on our blog, on The Ribbon Girl Facebook Page and on the front page of The Ribbon Girl online store website on New years Day, 1st January 2014 - you could be famous!

You can enter any type of project, for example you could make a card - could be a thank you card, a birthday card, a get well soon card, do a drawing or painting, a piece of knitting, bead work, embroidery, crochet or sewing - in fact, any type of craft you like to do as long as it is your own work.  No need to send us the project, just ask an adult to photograph it for you and put your project on their craft blog so they can enter it for you using the inlinks button on the Ribbon Girl Challenge Blog.  And don't worry if you don't have a blog, just get an adult to email a photo of your project to Mary and she will enter it for you - let us have your name, age and an email address so we can make contact if you are chosen as the winner.

Rock A Bye Baby ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're having a great start to your week!

Well .. do you remember in my last post I mentioned that it was supposed to snow on Saturday?  And that Bodhi's best friend was coming over to play .. so hopefully they'd be able to play in the snow out in our backyard?  sigh .. well .. it did NOT snow!  blaughgggh!  lol!  It was mighty windy and very cold .. but no snow.  :(  Ahhhh well ... 

At least the boys had so much fun playing together.  :)  They are so inseparable .. ever since Kindergarten.  And even if they are now in different classrooms this year .. they still eat lunch together and play together during recess EVERY SINGLE DAY!  So cute!  :)

Anyway!  Here's a card that I've made with this absolutely DARLING LOTV "Rocking Horse" coloured with Distress Reinkers.  

Have you all gotten your fill of this PRECIOUS release?!!!!!!  Oh I tell you .. they just make my heart melt all over again and again!  Truly!  You simply must treat yourselves to some LOTV goodness!!!

Merry Christmas ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you've all had a beautiful week!

How is the weather where you're at?  It is SO cold here .. and we're supposed to snow here in town on Saturday!  :)  Yayyy!  It's a rare treat for us to have snow at our home .. we're excited and looking forward to it.  Plus Bodhi's best friend Hudson is coming over to spend the day with us, so it'll be fun for the little boys together to play out back in the snow.  Crossing our fingers that it really happens.  ;)

Well, I've made another Christmas card a couple weeks ago using some yummy goodies from The Ribbon Girl Store .. truly such a beautiful store!

I've used Emily Lace, Carnation Ivory, Hip Rose Buds White, Flat Back Pearls, Cheesecloth, Seam Binding all from the gorgeous Ribbon Girl store!  ;)

LOTV Baby Release!!!

Hey Ya's!  Hope you are all doing well!

Did you get to treat yourselves to some LOTV goodies at the online sale?  I sure hope you did!  The new baby release is just the most DARLING aren't they?!  sigh ... Loooove them so much!

I've made a card using this precious "Balloon Basket" ... awwwww!  Such a sweet image right?  :)  The papers are from LOTV's "Always and Forever" stack, and the little frame was made for me by a gorgeous overseas friend .. I love it so much!!!
