Christmas Recipes to Warm Your Heart ...

Hey Ya's!  I hope you are all having a BEAUTIFUL week so far!

I'm sure you already know that LOTV is coming out with their first Christmas release for this year .. and let me tell you .. OMG .. it's just GOR-GEOUS!!!!!!  You will love each and every single one and it will melt your heart!!!

My first sneak peek for you is of a couple Recipe Cards that will come in a set of 4 .. and you KNOW how much I loved these Recipe Cards a couple years back too right?!  They've come out with new ones this year and I got so excited when I saw these new ones!!

This new release will soon be available to you at LOTV around the beginning of August!

On this card I've also used some yummy goodies from the Ribbon Girl store such as:

Blue Velvet Lace, Phoebe Lace, Carnation White, Carnation Pale Pink (from a dear friend .. thank you!) Satin Pink Baby's Breath, Laila Lace (from another dear friend .. thank you!), and Cheesecloth

The beautiful paper is LOTV's "Woodland Wishes" .. I love this stack!

Thank You ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're all having a lovely weekend!

I am finally here with a card.  :)  It's a new Lovely Lili Challenge over at the Ribbon Girl .. and this time it is "Thank You"!  :)

As always, I've been so happy to use sweet goodies from the gorgeous Ribbon Girl Store such as:

Laila Lace (from a dear friend of mine .. thank you!), Monique Lace, Ivory Pearl Flower Trim, Jute Mesh Ribbon, Pink Rose Hessian Ribbon, Satin Pink Baby's Breath Flower, Ivory Dove, Floribunda Roses Antique Lilac Mix, Wooden Heart, Seam Binding, Cheesecloth

I've used an older LOTV image called "Summer Garden Angel" and added some of my flowers onto her bouquet.  Then I cut out larger wings and lifted them for a 3d effect.  I've also stamped some words from "Set 66 - Grunge Elements" on the sides of her.  :)

Altered Dress Form ...

Hey Ya's!  I hope you are all having a beautiful week so far and ready for the weekend!  :)

Well, today I have something quite different to show you .. I've altered my first metal dress form and I had a B-L-A-S-T!  Yes, I burned my fingers at least 20 times, and even blistered and tore my skin with one of the burns from the hot glue dripping on my fingers .. but I thoroughly enjoyed putting this together .. hahahaha!

This metal dress form is almost 2 feet tall (YES!  Tall right?!  LOL!)  and she's decorated with lots of flowers, bling, lace, tulle, yarn, pearls, and gems all from my stash.

Here's a closeup of her top half .. and do you see that heart tucked in there where our own heart would be?  :)  The large flower by her waist is actually pink (but it looks orange here) .. I bought that flower 4 years ago .. and have finally found the perfect project to use it for.  :)

I've added little metal flowers with bling all around her dress:

And I've added a string of pearls and crystals on the side of all that ribbon:

Hugs Are Handshakes From the Heart ...

Hey Ya's! Wowwwww!  Can you believe it's the last day of June already?!  What in the world?!  These days are crazy fast right?!

I hope you're all enjoying your Summer days .. and having lots of warmth and sunshine wherever you are.  :)  Here .. it is disgustingly hot.  We're already up to 110 degrees Fahrenheit and supposed to soon be going up to 115 degrees.  BLAUGH!

Well, I've made a card using this sweetheart LOTV image called "Hugs" coloured with Distress Reinkers and Watercolors.  Awwww .. we all need our daily dose of hugs & snuggles right?  :)  

I tried to make it seem like she's sitting on a branch over water and dipping her toes into the water.  

I've used lace from a dear friend .. thank you so much!  :)

Timeless Beauty ...

Now that it's Summer .. my little Bodhi has been keeping me busy .. in a good way!  :)  

Well, last week I had finished this canvas and as always .. I thoroughly enjoyed putting it together!

This entire Statue of Liberty is made out of chocolate .. "hold me back from chomping on it" right?  hahahaha!  This was at Hershey's World located in one of the casino's.  :)

Authentic Wishes ...

Well ..  a couple weeks ago I've attempted my first configuration box .. and let me tell you .. my craft desk was a hot mess while making this!  omg ... Everything was everywhere and wowwwww ... I was a bit confused as to where to start .. and if you could have just seen me working this .. it would have been like watching a comedy.  LOL!  ;)

I didn't realize that I would be grabbing so many things to put in here, and whew *breathing again*  haha  .. here it is:

So after I finished this .. oooooh I was extremely happy to see the top of my desk again!  LOL!

My little dude has finished another school year .. and Summer vacation has BEGUN!!!  ;)  Loads of time for us to get into some fun!!  And he is a happy camper now that he can stay up later every night .. lol!

Happy Father's Day ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you all had a beautiful weekend and are now heading into a wonderful week!

Well, it's the final stretch for Bodhi's school year .. this is his last week.  OMGosh right?  Yup .. this little guy is growing up fast .. too fast and I'm not liking it one bit!  lol!  Why does the time have to pass so quickly?  :(  But one good thing is .. Summer vacation starts in a week .. and we'll have more time to do fun things!  :)

Also, Father's Day is right around the corner and I've made a very simple card using LOTV's "Set 52 Clocks and Cogs" and coloured around with Distress Reinkers.

I've also added some of my metal gears to the image to give it some dimension:
