Hey Ya's!  Hope you're enjoying a beautiful weekend!

Well, my family has just left .. and it is rather lonely without them.  :(  As always .. the visits are never long enough .. and lots of tears are shed when they leave.  Bodhi had a very nice surprise ... and once again he screamed with such delight as my family came out of their hiding spot.  lol!  My family comes up with such clever surprises .. this time they told Bodhi they would be testing the Time Machine my Dad had been "working on".  ;)  hehehehe ...

Anyway, it is time for a new Ribbon Girl Challenge, and there is a big change .. the Lovely Lili's challenge has now been changed to Everything Goes with Any Image.  You can use ANY image you'd like, and make any kind of project you like for the theme we have announced.  Easy peasy and fun!!!  So this week, the theme is "Birthday".

I've used a Leanne Ellis Santoro image called "Butterfly" that I've had for over a year now .. and finally inked her up.  Then decorated this card with some yummy Ribbon Girl goodies such as:

Anne Lace, Florence Lace, Ivory Button Twine, Aqua Gingham Button, Floribunda Roses White, Large White Rosebuds, Pink Hip Rosebuds from their lovely store ...

Dream Garden ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you're all having a beautiful week!

Well, I've attempted something new and finally finished it.  I made "somewhat" of an album .. but not quite a full album.  I decorated the entire outside with materials and lace .. I had a totally different idea in mind .. but of course did not turn out how intended.  hehe.

Then the inside is mainly papers and lots of pull out tags for journaling and such ...

Still Here ... Life is Good!

Hello Ya's!  Hope you're all doing very very well!

I've been taking it sooooo easy and not having a care in the world! ;) hehehhe~  But came across this image and could not resist!!!  

Plus my family will be arriving here in town this week .. woot woot .. can't wait! Planning for another fun surprise for my Bodhi .. he has no idea that they're coming to town! ;)  hehehehehe!  I love these surprises ... it's so fun to plan!  ;)

Anyway, here's an image that I loved from Jeremiah Ketner!  After months of not colouring, I got excited from this image and wheels are turning in my mind for something different .. hehe ...

Paris Blooms ...

Hey Ya's!  It's been awhile .. hope you are all doing very well and enjoying your days!

It seems that the warm days are arriving quickly here in town .. and our rose bushes are already showing signs of new growth!  Can you believe that?!  

Well, I've made another card using some Maja papers that were sent by a sweet overseas friend .. thank you so much .. I really LOVE them dear!!!  It was tough to cut into .. but this year I've decided to try my best not to keep goodies tucked away.  :)  hehe!

Sweet You ...

Last week, I finished a card with some goodies that I received from dear friends .. thank you so much ladies .. I love everything!!!  I had been eyeing those LemonCraft papers for some time .. and a sweet friend surprised me with them!  Awwwwww!!!  Thank you dear!!!  :)  Now a new addiction begins!  hehe!

Going Back to Boho ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you all are ready for a fun filled weekend!  :)

Well, as some of you know .. I was born and raised in Hawaii.  Then I moved away from the islands, but most of my family and relatives are still there.  Growing up, I always remembered being drawn to Boho Chic things .. clothing, jewelry, bags.  Anything Boho .. I absolutely LOVED!

I love the laid back feeling of it, I love it being "hippy-ish", I love the "flowy-ness" to it all .. all those things make me feel like I'm back in the Islands once again enjoying the endless hours and days at the beaches with friends ..  and never left.  I don't get to dress in those things as much anymore, but I do buy a few Boho clothing items here and there when I find them.

Anyway .. I'd like to share with you my make of a Boho Chic lace bracelet that I've made!  :)  It took me awhile to finish .. but I had a ton of enjoyment making it .. all the whilst it taking me back "home" in my heart of hearts.

Free To Fly ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you all had a beautiful weekend!

We had such a cozy rainy day on Sunday .. just one of those days where you cuddle up and enjoy the pitter patter sounds.  And our poor Max .. totally refused to go do his business all day long even though I would try to go out with him.  He looked at me like, "uh-uh.  No way .. I'm not going out in that rain.  Goodbye .. I'm going inside now where it's nice and warm."  hahahahahaha!

Well, here's a card I made a few weeks ago .. this sweet ballerina ready to fly ..

I've also added some feathers by the flowers .. because of her angel wings.  hehe!  And added a crochet doily at the corner.  The rub on "Free to Fly" is from Tim Holtz .. LOVE those rub ons!!

The Sweetest Thing ...

Happy New Year to you!  Hope you all had a fabulous New Years Celebration and wishing you all a beautiful 2015!!!

I've made my first Spring card already as Valentines is now rolling round.  I can't believe the holidays are over .. it really is a bit sad to see all the Christmas things gone.  The fun times go just way too quick don't they?  :(

Well .. here's my card .. and I actually made TWO of them .. but the second one is a bit different in the middle .. I'll show you ...

And this is the second one .. I used a different doily background, made different butterfly wings and a different butterfly center.  :)
