Easter Joy Fold Card

Hey Friends!  Hope you all had a lovely weekend!  Easter is right around the corner, which reminds me I have to buy my little guy a basket to go egg hunting.  :)

Last year, I had bought some of those plastic eggs to hide from him, and he loved looking for them.  Then he wanted to hide the eggs from me, so I let him.  And he's sooo silly.  He'd "hide" them where they were all VISIBLE ... like ... just sit them on the table in front of me.  lol!  So, I'd pretend like I didn't see them and say, "Hmmmm, now where did you hide those eggs?"  And he's point to the eggs and giggle his butt off and say, "Right there!  Right there mommy!"  lol!

Aren't little kids the funniest things in the world?!  The pureness of them just makes you sit and want to absorb it all in again.

Well, I'm entering the following card into Fussy and Fancy Challenge 7, which is Easter themed.

Crafting Life's Pieces Challenge #23

Hi Friends!  Hope you're all having a great weekend!  Today I finally went to give my hair a "trim", and my hairdresser did more than just a "trim".  She was a bit happy with the scissors, and cut my hair all the up to my COLLARBONE!!!  We were so busy yapping about movies and shows, and she just kept snipping away with the scissors ... and yep ... she must've cut about 6 inches off my hair!

Well, it's just hair, and it'll grow back to where I'd like it to be in about 5 YEARS!!!!  LOL!  I'm kidding!  I love my hairdresser, she rocks!

Anyway, I made the following card for Crafting Life's Pieces Challenge #23!  Thank you so much Chelsea for another BEAUTIFUL sketch!  If you've not visited Chelsea's blog, you simply must!  Her creations are simply amazing and inspirational and you're in for a real eye candy TREAT!

A Lovely Gift from Stephanne

Hi Friends!  Well, I have something beautiful to share with you ... something that I received in the mail today that made me giddy with delight!  Stephanne surprised me by telling me I was her 100th follower and asked me to pick a stamp I'd like (which I chose Tilda with a Spoon), but she sent me an entire package full of lovely goodies!  I tell you ... it was like a big Birthday gift!  Just look at everything she put in here!!  I can't stop gawking at these delightful treats!

But the most precious in the package was a STUNNING card that she made for me (which is in my crafting room sitting on my computer desk)!  I've seen her cards on her inspiring blog before, and have always thought they were GORGEOUS!  But to actually hold one of her creations in my hands, and get to see it in person ... whew!  Let me tell you ... truly took my breath away!  I just wish I could capture the beauty of this card in a photo!

You HAVE to go and visit her blog here!  You'll spend quite a bit of time there gazing at everything ... just remember to pick your jaws off the floor every so often and remind yourself to blink your eyes!  :)  Oh and just a little tidbit of info on Stephanne ... she's a riot!  Go visit her and when you read her posts ... she'll make you giggle your butt off!

Now look at this!!!  Look at this card!!

Isn't this fantabulous?!!!  With all my heart ... Thank you sooo very very much Stephanne!  I absolutely positively LOVE everything you've so graciously given me!  Truly!

Big Hugs,
Elise

ALRIGHT then!  Off track for a moment, but will hop back on the path right now.  LOL!  I've made another clear card for a few challenges listed below.  Here's my card:

The challenges I'm entering this into are:

Guest DT card for Digital Delights!

Hey Friends!  The other week I was very tickled pink and honored to have been chosen by the Delightful Sketches team to be a Guest DT on Digital Delights by Louby Loo!  For my Guest DT card, I've used one of their digital images, and I chose Lara Ladybug.  Isn't she just so darn cute?!  Who can resist this little cutie patootie?!  I put stickles on her spots to give her a little blingity bling.  :)

Here is my card and don't forget to play along at Delightful Sketches!  They have a wonderful group of sweet ladies with tons of talent!
