Snow Days

Hello Friends!  GASP!!!  What a shock!  I made a card!  LOL!  Well, I've been feeling really good the past few days, and had some time to make a card .. so even though I had to think a little longer (since I've not made a card over a month) ... I had a lot of fun doing this!  :)

This new challenge at Belles 'n Whistles Challenge blog is given to us by the lovely Kathrin.  The theme is "Cozy Winternights" .. and she wants us to use something fuzzy like felt, velvet flock, and such ... so for my card, I used velvet ribbon!  :)

I also used CLP's beautiful November sketch provided by the one and only mega-talented Chelsea!  Thank you so much Chel!  I always enjoy playing with your wonderful sketches!!!

Isn't this girl such a little cutie?!!!  She is SO entranced by this newly made snowball, and she looks like, "Wow!!!!"  hehe!  This sweetie pie is called Snowball Snowbaby from Belles 'n Whistles newest Snowbabies Collection!  Let me tell you .. this new collection is yet another must have to play with!  And Summer, the owner of Belles 'n Whistles Store will generously be donating 10% of the proceeds from this collection to Breast Cancer Research in honour of Jacque and myself!  Okay .. now how WONDERFUL is that?!!!!  (Heart is melting!!!!)  Thank you so much Summer!!!

Okay, so .. please come on over and play with us over at Belles 'n Whistles Challenge Blog and also at CLP!  And if you wanna be like me .. you can combine these 2 AWESOME challenges!!!!  Yayyy!  :)

Also, update on little 'ol me ... hehe ... I go in for my second round of chemo on Tuesday.  Annnnd ... I started losing my hair ... so my hubby shaved my head this past week.  Funny thing, when I shower, I still automatically try to lift up my hair and move it to the side.  LOL .. and when I reach for my hair, I'm like grabbing empty air, "Whoops, nothing there!"  LOL!

Alright, until next time .. keep on smiling!  Thank you so much for your kind support, thoughts and loving prayers!  I appreciate every single one of you!

May the best of your todays .. Be the worst of your tomorrows
Elise
