Paper Purses & Pin Basket

Hi there!  Did you all have a great weekend?  Hope you did!  I got to see my little boy sing in Chapel this Sunday morning for school .. and it always brings tears to my eyes to see him walk in down the aisle with the other little ones.  I love watching him sing and do all the hand motions that they do ... I wish he could stay this little for a LOT longer.

I love it when those tiny little hands and fingers wiggle in the air, those little feet dancing up on stage and witnessing that huge smile that radiates as he sings.  It's always so wonderful to see your little ones be happy isn't it?  sigh ...

I wanted to show you another set of brown paper bags that I made.  It's supposed to be like a little purse, so the flap opens up and you can put goodies in the inside pocket.

Then I also made a little stick pin basket which I painted and distressed:

I really really enjoyed making these, and can't wait to make more!

Thank you so much for visiting me .. I always look foward to seeing all of you!

Big Hugs,
Elise

Now these projects get me soooo excited Elise! Wowowowowow!!! LOVE them both. Ok, now I HAVE to make those brown bags. How do you do it haha or is it a trade secret? I love how you added that wonderful vintage feel to both pieces of art! Gosh girl you have some major talent.
As for that baby boy of yours. Couldn't you just hug them forever? They will ALWAYS stay close to your heart!!!! I just adore mine even though he is a really big, tall, boy! haha!

Hello my sweet sunshine! Aww you must feel so very proud of your little one, and yup I know how you feel to want them to stay little longer. I went to pick up my oldest grandson yesterday and it gets harder. I think I'll have to beef up my upper arms if I still want to cradle him like a baby. heehee
Your bags are absolutely precious I love them so much. So unique and perfect for goodies and treasures.
Ok so Oh my gawd!!!!! I AM TOTALLY IN LOVE with your basket stick pin holder. I keep oohing and awing ove it. I love it, I want it, I'm totally drooling over it!!! You totally have to teach me how to make one. AWESOME job hun.
Hugs and much love Bonnie

This is gorgeous Elise. Any crafter, seamstress would LOVE to have such a beautiful piece to keep her pins in. But it does look especially lush with your beautiful 'card pins' xxx
