Hello Friends! Hope you are all doing very well and enjoying the start of September!
My family came to visit from Hawaii ... love it when they visit but hate it when they leave. :) I can never get enough of them, and I'm trying to convince ALL of them to move here. lol!!! My little boy ... Bodhi ... surely misses them TERRIBLY as well. Loads of tears at bedtime (for the both of us LOL!) .. saying he really misses Grandpa. Hopefully they will all be back sooner than we think.
Well, I made a card using that cutie patootie "Snow Cute" and "Christmas Grungy Messages" from Lili of the Valley's newest release. And I used all 3 of the new beautiful Christmas Paper Pads .. a little bit of each from "Krafty Christmas", "Classic Christmas" and "Frosty Christmas"!

Oh Elise, hunny, this is just so darling!! I love this little penquin and your pencil work is amazing. He is just so sweet. Adore how you do your flowers (mine look more like they've been in the dumpster). Glad that you had a wonderful visit from your family but sorry you had the sad bit afterwards. Hi sweetie love this oh so beautiful card the colours are just gorgeous & how adorable is this image hunni.
I love catching up with my family as most of them live over 200 miles away & a couple live the other side of the world. Its always so sad to leave them tho.

Awwwwwww, this is so stinkin' cute Elise!!! I broke down and bought 2, yes, 2 stamps from this release, and this was the one I was really, really wanting but passed on, trying not to be a hoarder, and now I am kicking myself because I would love to try and make something as stunning as this with this cute cute image!! Note the word TRY lol!! I love it!! Cuteness all around, love the distressing and the added texture from the cheesecloth.
I hope the parent withdrawals subside soon, HOPE. I know it's hard to see them go, or to be the one going, for that matter. Everything seems empty for a few weeks after having the family whole for a while. Oh, I feel ya there, I really do. I hope you guys are getting back into the normal swing of things though :(
