Hey Ya's! Hope you're all doing well and that you've been enjoying the days leading up to Fall!
My Bodhi started school this week .. gotta tell you .. no matter how many times I think it will get easier for me .. it really doesn't. I get so sad, feel a bit under the weather, I miss him like crazy .. in other words .. I'm a hot mess for the first few days of him returning to school EVERY. SINGLE YEAR. lol!
Well, I finished this card a couple weeks ago .. and I started this at the beginning of June! haha! It's just been sitting on my desk until I finally decided to get it off before summer actually ended. omg. :)
I'd also love to enter this into I Am Roses Challenge Blog "Anything Goes" .. love their flowers!!

Well it was very much worth the wait Elise... it is truly beautiful! Such wonderfully soft colours and fabulous flowers create a magical scene.. and I'm loving that little fence too!
Oh dear, re Bodhi going back to school... believe me, it doesn't get easier.. I cried every time my girls went back to school after the holidays.. I was the ONLY Mum at the school gates with a tear in her eye! It carried on until they left school at 18 - then..... they went to university... and that was worse!! But - on the plus side - how wonderful it is to be so close to our children! My girls are 32 and 30 now.. and I still need to be reassured when they're travelling anywhere.. Emma (my eldest) just cycled with her boyfriend from Switzerland back to England, and Clare - just flew to San Diego to be with a friend for a few days then went on to Toronto to be with another friend for her bridal shower this weekend. As long as they text me from various points along the way, I don't worry! So sorry, being a Mum is one long worry from day one!! hehe

OMG!!! I had loads of lovely cards for my birthday today but not like this one. I did have one handmade card which is very beautiful and is going into my treasure drawer. I love all the detail and the stunning scene you have created. The colours and flowers are breathtaking. Wonderful!! I do feel for you missing your Bodhi. (sigh), I just knew it would be hard for you on the first day of school Elise. No matter how old Bodhi is, it'll still be hard. Hope he loves his teachers and enjoys school and that will help to make it easier for you.
