A Good Friend ...

Hello You's!  Hope you've all been keeping well!

Well yes, my Bodhi started school a few weeks ago, and let me tell you .. the EMOTIONS!!!!!!!!  Gosh God Almighty!  He's gone into 6th grade and just having him hop out of the car now and walk into the school all by himself truly tore my heart apart.  sigh ... words can not describe how much I wish he was little all over again.  I think I understand why some families have like ... 6 or more kids!  hahahaa!  The feeling of always having a young one in the home is so wonderful!

Anyway .. I've finished 3 cards and here is 1 of them using some Maja Designs paper I received from a lovely friend years ago ...  (and finally takes courage to cut them .. lol)

Hope you're all doing well and thank you so very much for visiting me!

Hugs,
Elise

A Fabulous........ Stunning..........Amazing design!! I love Maja papers and find it difficult to actually cut into them!! Your flowers and embellishments are gorgeous and are, as always, a perfect addition to the beautiful image. Love the sentiment too. Another Elise masterpiece!! Hugs, Carol S.xxx

Aww sweet Bodhi! I totally know what you mean. I just want to bottle the time! We've just enrolled Georgie for highschool. She'll be a teenager in Feb! Eeeek!!! It just flies so fast!! Stunning creation Elise and well done cutting into your beautiful Maja papers, I still have a huge stroke only pile!! But I'm determined to use that beautiful paper too. LOVE what you did with it, so so pretty. Hugs, Wends xoxo

Hmmmm I somehow missed this stunner... but just had to drop by here to say I KNOW HOW YOU FELT!! I was the one Mum at the school gates who hated taking my daughters back after the school hols... it DOES tear at your heart! But you have to keep in mind that they are getting stronger and more grown up... even though it causes you pain! Mine are 33 and 31 now... and it still hurts when they leave after they've visited... so I can't tell you it's going to get any better! LOL! Just know that we'd rather be the emotional, feeling people that we are, than someone who doesn't have the feelings that we do.

PS... Your card is beautiful too!! hehe!
