Hello Friends!  How are you all doing?  Hope you're getting in some fun activities during the Summer months .. maybe a vacation to a place that you've always wanted to visit?  I just want to go to Disneyland over and over and over again .. can never get tired of the place!  lol!

Great thing about it is .. my hubby and little boy loves Disneyland as well (yup!  Even my hubby loves Disneyland!  Yayyy!).  Hopefully we'll get to go before the end of the year ... I'd really love to go right before Christmas!

Anyway .. I started going off in daydream mode .. lol!  Here's my card that I made with Little Friend:

Hello Friends!  Hope you're all doing well and staying cool wherever you are .. by golly it's so hot here in Vegas!  At 9:00 in the morning it's already 90 degrees .. and it just gets hotter and hotter as the day progresses!  YUCK!

Well, I've made this Lili of the Valley card just for fun, and I had this old sketch copied down from quite awhile ago.  I saw it from Everybody Art Challenge Blog and thought it was such a cool sketch!

A Wonderful Day

Hi Friends!  Hope you're having a fantastic weekend so far!  It's getting pretty HOT again here.  Last week we had a couple of days that were so nice and comfortable.  We were having quite a bit of rain off and on for a few days.  And one day it started raining suddenly .. I headed out into our backyard and my little boy followed me.

He was so excited to hear the quick and heavy drops of the rain on the patio roofing .. so I grabbed his hand and we ran out in our grass and played in the rain .. just running around and dancing.  ;)  Oh gosh, he was soOoo happy to be playing in the rain with me ... and so was I. 

Anyway, here's a card with a Maggie that I've had for some time now, and finally inked her up:

Okay, I know this is a "boy" card, and usually boy cards don't have very many, if ANY flowers .. buuuuuttt .. we are talking about ME here.  lol!!!  And I love love love my flowers so even if it's a boy card .. hmmmm .. there WILL be flowers on there and lots of them!  lol!  I tried to go easy on the flowers, but NO can do!  Luckily my little 4 year old boy says he loves all the flowers as well (since this card is for him) .. especially the blue ones he says.  hehe .. he knows how to stroke my ego.  :)

Something to Look Foward To ....

Hello Friends!  I wanted to let you in on something to look forward to ...

WOC and LOTV will be teaming up to have a Christmas in July party at the WOC Blog!  It starts next Monday July 18th .. and lasts for a week .. full of Christmas creations!   And yes yes yes ... was I ever SO excited when asked to be one of the guest designers for this fabulous party!!!  Gotta tell ya .. it's gonna be a WONDERFUL party!  So mark your calendars and we'll see you there!

Hello Friends!  Hope you're all doing wonderfully!  We are having some really weird weather here in Vegas .. it is hot and MUGGY!!!!  Yuck!!!  So sticky and gross!  lol!

Last night we tried a pizza place in Summerlin .. it's called Grimaldi's.  VERY nice Italian Pizza place and the pizza was .. OMG delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And the manager gave us canoli's on the house .. OMGosh .. yum yum yum yum yum!!!!!!  I usually don't enjoy canoli's (Italian dessert .. shhhh .. don't tell my father in law that!  lol!) .. but wow .. these were just FABULOUS!!!!  They were .. magical!  lol!  If you come across a Grimaldi's .. try it .. you'll love it!  :)

I Miss You

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!  Are you all doing anything special for those living here in the states?  I think we'll be playing a little bit of fireworks for our little 4 year old .. he's been asking to play with some.  :)  

I really wanted to get those long dragon fireworks .. you know .. the kind that has like 10,000 or more?  (but it's not legal here in Vegas .. shoots!)  It starts off going "pop pop pop" and then at the very end it's like a big balled up group of fireworks and it just SLAMS and goes crazy?!  SooOooo LOUD!  Growing up in Hawaii .. we'd always buy so many of those.  My dad would set up 3 long bamboo poles and start 3 at a time.  It was so fun!  :)

Anyway ... since it's Monday, it starts the beginning of a new Belles 'n Whistles Challenge.  Our talented Audhild chose the theme of "Use Flowers and Pearls" .. okay .. now where can you go wrong with that?!  You simply can't!  Easy peasy and I love the theme!!!

Each Day is a Gift

Hello Friends!  Happy July 1st!  Whew .. months are just whizzing along here!  Before you know it .. it will be Christmas all over again!  My gosh!
