Christmas Blessings ...

Gosh, can you believe it's the ending of October already?  Whew!  Where does the time go?

Well, I've made a card using some darling Lili of the Valley stamps .. "Three Little Angels" (which sadly is no longer sold), Set 75 Christmas Sentiments and snowflakes from Set 36 Christmas Icons.  I really do love these sweet Angels ... 

Halloween is right around the bend too .. I wish you all a very Happy and Safe Halloween!!

Birthday Wishes ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you are all having a beautiful week!

A few weeks ago, I made a Birthday card for a beautiful friend of mine who has already celebrated her special day this month.  She really enjoys the Autumnal colors and loves Halloween as well so I used Graphic 45 "Time to Flourish" October papers and cut out some cupcakes from another paper stack I have .. and placed them in the pumpkin garden as well.  :)

Trick or Treat ...

I've made another Halloween shaker treat box card .. this time using a darling image from Mo Manning called "Hobson with Treats".  omgosh .. as soon as I saw this cutie I loved him!  Look at his cute little tongue on the lollipop!  haha!!  I could not resist him!

Boo!!!

Hey Ya's!  Hope you are all having a beautiful week so far!

I love this time of year .. the coming of holidays approaching gives the days a special sort of feel.  I love the long nights, the supposedly cooler weather (we're still pretty hot here unfortunately), I love seeing all the decorations that are starting to show up in stores and at homes (we've already had our Halloween decorations up from a week ago .. lol!)

We really do enjoy Halloween .. going out to trick or treat and also the passing of candy to see all the different costumes too.  :)

Last year I made a canvas similar to this card .. but decided to turn this one into a treat box card!  I learned this from my very special friend Christina who does such GORGEOUS treat boxes!

Glad Tidings ...

Hey Ya's!  Are you having a lovely week?  I hope so!

Well, we finally had some big thuderstorms all day on Monday .. which brought in some nice chilly weather.  Which lasted about 2 days .. and now it's getting warm again.  sigh .. can you believe it?!  It's October and we keep going back to the warm temperatures.  yuck!  "Bring in the cold!  Bring in the cold!"  .. that's me chanting.  LOL!  ;)

Anyway .. made another Christmas card (probably because I'm wishing for cold weather so terribly .. hehe!).  This time using Graphic 45's "12 Days of Christmas" paper.  I so love G45 .. and have you ever smelled their papers?  OMG!!!!!!  Smells soooo good!  Can't put it into words .. but I so love smelling their papers!  haha!

On this I did some fussy cutting to make it look like this pretty lady is behind all the flowers ...

Dashing Thru the Snow ...

Hey Ya's!  Happy October 1st!  Wowwww .. can you believe it?  Another month has flown by and we are getting closer and closer to another new year .. eeeeek!

I've made my first Christmas card .. yup .. I am so ready for the Winter months as it is so hot here still.  I am tired of the heat so if any of you can send some cold weather this way .. I'd be truly grateful.  ;)

Okay, so I've seen shaker cards around for awhile as all of you lovely crafters have already done them .. I think I may be the only one who has not done one until now.  ;)  I thought they'd be difficult .. but it is actually quite fun and easier than I imagined!  

This wooden sled was from Michaels that I purchased last year .. I painted it with gesso, then covered it with lots of glitter (which of course is not visible in the photos .. grrrrrr!).  I put some seed beeds and sequins in the shaker .. so much fun I want to make more!  haha.

A Little Gift Basket ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you are all doing well!

Has it been cooling down where you live?  We have had beautiful weather the past couple of days ... it's been in the 80's .. but forecast says we'll be back up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit this weekend.  omg .. I'm so ready to get rid of the heat.  lol.

Well, I haven't made this stickpin basket for quite a few years now .. and remembered this while thinking of something to gift a lovely lady.  I bought these little wood baskets from my local craft store Michaels about 5 years ago.  I give it a coat of white paint, then coat it with some clear crackle paint too .. also distress the corners with Tim Holtz distress ink.  Made a little pillow to fit inside the basket .. then embellish away!  :)

My Sunshine ...

Hey Ya's!  Hope you are all doing very well!

I've been going through my stash and looking through a lot of my "older" stamps that I have .. and I have to say that I love each and every one of them.  They all bring back a lot of different memories .. of different times .. all very sentimental.

So, when I came across this precious image, I immediately knew I wanted to colour her up once again.  I got her when I was with the Belles 'n Whistles DT .. and she is called "Sushine and Apples" .. which sadly is no longer available.  :(

Wedding Bells ...

Hey Ya's!  Happy September 1st!  Hope you are all doing well and enjoying your days!

I made a wedding card back in July for a very special friend's son who just got married.  I draped a lovebird charm connected to a chain over the resin frame and added a wedding dress applique to the card as well.
