Christmas is Over?

Hello You's!  Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas filled with everything you wanted it to be!  Can you believe it's over already?  :(

We had a nice quiet Christmas .. I love spending it at home .. all cozy and snuggly in jammies all day.  ;)  Of course I wish we could have had my family in town .. but maybe next year.  Bodhi had a wonderful day .. he loved every single bit of gifts and cards he received!

So these are my last Christmas cards I did for this year ...

Santa Stop Here ...

Hey You's!  Are you all doing well and keeping warm?  I hope so!

Christmas is right around the corner once again.  I'm not sure how it's gotten here so quick, but it has.  Are you ready for the big day?  I think we've gotten everything we needed (I hope we have).  Bodhi is ready ... more so ready since he's looking forward to no school.  ;)  hehe!

I've played with my Lili of the Valley stamps and coloured it with distress reinkers, prisma pencils and watercolours.

Hope you finished all of your Christmas cards you wanted to get done!  I know I certainly didn't .. lol.  Thank you so much for your visit and keep safe!  If I don't see you again before Christmas .. have a verrrry Merry Christmas filled with lots of love, joy and laughter!

Warm Hugs & Kisses ...

Hey You's!  Time is flying by right?  Hope you've all been well!

It's nearing December, and I can't believe the weather we've been having.  It's quite warm for this time of year .. we were in the high 70's for quite awhile .. and only now dropping to mid 60's.  And those who know me well .. know I love my chilly weather.  So I wish the cold weather would hurry up and swoosh in any minute now.  ;)

I made this Christmas card over a span of about a month.  Let me tell you, the struggle is real.  LOL.  Why is it when I would like to get a whole lot more Christmas cards done ..the motivation is just .. gone?

This sweet little girl is by the fabulous Elisabeth Bell, and I rec'd her when I was on the Belles n' Whistles DT years ago.  I couloured her up with Distress Reinkers, Twinkling H2O's and watercolours.

Happy Holidays ...

Hey You's!  Happy November!  Hope you're all doing wonderfully!

Well, I made my first Christmas card for the year!  I'm trying so hard to make more, but hmmmm ... seems my motivation comes and goes incredibly quick.  It more so goes than stays.  lol.  

So for my first Christmas card, I decided to pull out my Graphic 45 paper and go from there.  A shaker is what I came up with .. shakers are so fun to make aren't they?

I'd love to make about 30 Christmas cards, but honestly ... I can see myself making a total of 3.  OMG right?  hahahaha!

Every Year I Fall For ...

Hello You's!  Are you ready for Halloween?  I think we are!  ;)  

I had my family from Hawaii here in town for a week .. sigh .. gotta tell you .. it never gets any easier to say goodbye when they leave.  My parents, oldest sister, brother in law, niece and one of my nephews came and .. it was way too short a visit.  Of course as always .. Bodhi had such a wonderful time with everyone .. and like me ... had a difficult time saying goodbye.  Until next time right?

Have you all gotten your Halloween things ready?  :)  It seems it has snuck up quite quickly this year for us .. can't believe it's only 5 days away.

I made this card a few weeks ago.  The sentiment is sooooo cute which I found on Pinterest!  It says, "Every year I fall for Pumpkins, Bonfires, S'mores, Autumn Leaves, Apples & You".  Omgosh .. I simply smiled as soon as I saw this sentiment and knew I had to put it on a card.  :)

Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful ...

Do you love this time of year as much as I do?  I simply love the early chilly nights, the cold crisp mornings .. and looking forward to more hearty dinners.  I've been searching for recipes and found some that sound delicious .. can't wait to give them a try.  ;)

Thinking of You ...

Hello You!  I hope you're all doing well and for those who have been affected by the hurricanes .. I truly hope you're safe and I'm praying for all of you ...

I found this darling Elisabeth Bell stamp in my stamp drawer (I so love my old stamps) a few weeks ago .. and quickly decided to colour her up with some distress reinkers, watercolors and prisma coloured pencils.

I can only imagine the happiness of this little girl when she reads her letter from her best friend .. or family member .. or special loved one .. 

Pure Delight!  She simply can't wait to read it .. so she has to open it right at the mailbox!  ;)

I hope you receive that kind of mail in your box today and always .. something to make you smile and feel loved.  :)

A Good Friend ...

Hello You's!  Hope you've all been keeping well!

Well yes, my Bodhi started school a few weeks ago, and let me tell you .. the EMOTIONS!!!!!!!!  Gosh God Almighty!  He's gone into 6th grade and just having him hop out of the car now and walk into the school all by himself truly tore my heart apart.  sigh ... words can not describe how much I wish he was little all over again.  I think I understand why some families have like ... 6 or more kids!  hahahaa!  The feeling of always having a young one in the home is so wonderful!

Anyway .. I've finished 3 cards and here is 1 of them using some Maja Designs paper I received from a lovely friend years ago ...  (and finally takes courage to cut them .. lol)

Bloom Where You Are Planted ...

My Bodhi starts school in a few days .. sigh .. can someone just hand me a box of tissues already?!  Seriously, where has the Summer gone?  It's done?  But wait ... I swear it just started last week?!  ugh .. not liking time at the moment.  Wayyyy too fast.

You know how you purchase craft things and it just sits for quite a bit of time?  Months ... maybe even a couple of years?  hehe!  Well, this Aurora Wings digital image is one of them.  I finally decided to colour her up and enjoyed doing so!

I used Distress Reinkers and Watercolors for my mediums ...

Bird Set Free ...

Hello there!  Wow .. it's August .. what is happening?  hehe!

Hope you've all been keeping well?

Bodhi Summer vacation is coming to a close and lemme tell you .. he's not a happy camper.  To be honest .. neither am I.  Every year when Summer comes to close, I get a bit down in the dumps.  I know it's silly, but I really do miss my Bodhi when he goes back to school.  sigh ...

Anyway, I had fun making this a couple weeks ago.  No colouring .. just straight up lace, flowers, pearls .. all little doo dads.  ;)
