Well, since it's the first of the month, what better way to kick off the New Year of 2011 than start off with CLP'S new challenge?!!! Yayyy! As you know, our most mega-talented Chelsea has created another fabulous sketch for us to play with! Thanks Chel! And guess what?!!! Chel's own Gurlee Girl store will be sponsoring us! Woooohoooo!
Did ya see the new Gurlee's?!!! Ahhhh! I love love love them! And I'm playing with one right now for this sketch challenge! :) I actually have been trying to play with my cards on the days that I feel good (which is always right before my next chemo treatment) .. so this card was done a couple of weeks ago. Yayy! :)
I'm using Christmas Angel Avie as a Birthday angel here. My clear acrylic tag says "Make a Wish" ... I believe this little cutie can make any wish come true! hehe!

Alright, let me give you a quick low-down on my show-down .. lol! I've finished my 4th chemo treatment on Dec. 21st!!! Wooohooo! So, I have 2 more to go! Each treatment gets harder .. but I'm hanging tough! I want to Thank All of You so MUCH for being here with me .. giving me your constant support and love and encouraging words! Your comments and emails are unbelievably uplifting! Thank you!!

Hi! Elise, Great idea to use this cutie as a fairy godmother that makes wishes come true! I love the very delicate scene you created for her, so soft and feminine. I can almost smell a delicate perfume!I love the shape of the diecut on which you showcased your image. The little charm, the acrylic greeting and the lovely doily are just so perfect embellishments.

Awww, I am so glad you have made your way back to your rubber and photopolymer friends, lol, they were likely getting lonely!! This little cutie looks like something off a magazine cover. PERFECT in every way !!! I LOVE the way you got the wonderful shading on her hair.
I just read your story of finding out you had breast cancer. My heart goes out to you my friend but I KNOW you'll make it threw this ... I have a good friend that is just going thru the same thing. She goes in tomorrow to find out if they have to start Chemo. I told her I will go with her & sit & color images so her husband doesn't need to miss work. Friends need to stick together at times like this. It could happen to any of us & seems more common every day. I am so glad I found your wonderful blog & shall look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work & hearing good reports as you finish your chemo. Bless you my friend. Give that little boy an extra hug from one mom to another ...
