Hello Friends! This week at Belles 'n Whistles Challenge Blog, we have the fun theme of using "Snowflakes" on our creations given by our super talented sister Kathy! Thank you Kathy!!!
For this card, I'm using Snow Gear Snowbaby ... I love her! :) I used MME papers from last years stack .. lol .. and of course coloured my image with Prisma Colored Pencils.
And here's a little gift tag that I made for this challenge as well since this little Catch a flake Snowbaby has snowflakes gently landing on her cute little tongue! hehe! Yep,I made a gift tag .. something other than a card! Yipppeee! But hey! Ummmm ... didn't think this one through all the way .. now where in the world do I write on it?! LOL!
Sometime this year ... LMAO .. I'm going to give it a try using Distress Inks that I purchased during Thanksgiving weekend. I've always loved the looks of Distress Inks, and decided that I really wanted to try it, so I took the plunge and bought more colors. Now .. I have to make the time to actually play with them and learn slowly. Will it be soppy messes? Hmmmm ... we'll find out! LOL!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, ELISE!!! What a wonderful way to usher in the new year with this fabby card! She is so cute and colored to perfection in pretty, soft colors...can almost feel the chill in the air LOL! AND, the tag is gorgeous! So much pretty details it's like a card! And your tag is so cute too. The pink grey's and Earth tones go awesome together. Honey you rocked your project.
As for the Distress Inks TOTALLY FUN to work with and so forgiving if you make a mistake you simply blot it off with paper towel or napkin. Good luck and I can't wait to see your creation using them
